Just curious if any people are doing this ride on the 27th September, with rides in over 400 cities around the world there should be a ride near you! Went out this avvo to the 3 Sisters race track in Brin gates near Wigan. Good weather and some great racing. Even had the 50cc club here and boy did they fly the track leaders in the 600 race

Planned to ride from surrey to Weymouth today to take advantage of the sun, after a badly sign posted diversion near Winchester ended up on some awsome Dorset country roads so ended up touring Dorset and ended up in somerset, late afternoon after being held up by one to many herds of cows crossing the road I decided to head home but I was totally lost and course when I got my phone out to use the sat nav there was no signal and the battery soon died.After following my nose for a while eventually found myself homeward bound and finished with a blast up the M3 ( sadly intterupted by roadworks). Today on ITV4 from 9:00pm to 10:00pmSteve Parrish, James Whitham and Steve Plater journey to the Isle of Man and the Classic TT to get up close and personal with the world's most celebrated motor bikes from days gone by. Current TT legends such as John McGuinness and Bruce Anstey are on hand to put some of these classic bikes through their paces in a series of races around the gruelling 37.72 mile Mountain Course. The centre piece of this year's Classic TT is a display of Norton machinery organised by the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham. This is going to be loud, fast and full of nostalgia - a high speed trip down memory lane

Went to Southport this afternoon to test the camera out. bloody thing fell off my helmet, luckily just turning a corner at traffic lights in Lord street and can say its fine. they have a satin rubbery finish on the case which the velcro didn't stick to very well. i also forgot to set the mode so I have to crank my head over 90' to watch it anyway was a good ride out and I learned a lot (what not to do)

There is a pub in a village called Two Dales just north of the bikers Mecca of Matlock (packed every weekend with bikers) the pub is on Wheatley Road which is just off the B5057 Chesterfield Road. DE4. Its a cracking country pub with a field they own behind it ideal for a short camping weekend as its ten minutes at most away from Matlock. This is the annual classic car and bike show held in the centre of Sheffield on The Moor, the public are told from noon until 4 or 5pm, but anyone wanting to display has to be there before this time arrive anytime from 10.30am to noon at the very latest, there is also the police display stall with loads of freebies as well as other stalls and several shops open including Greggs, lol. Our annual free to enter motorcycle show is on monday the 10th of august starting at 6.30pm at the Civil Service Club, Green Lane, Ecclesfield,Sheffield S359WY. Several prizes are to be awarded which have been donated by SMC motorcycles of Sheffield, there will be hot food and drinks available, plus the very reasonably priced bar too, a professional DJ will be playing the music. We usually get around 200 bikes turn up, our best is 260 !!! Parking inside the venue is for motorcycles only, cars have to park in the plentiful surrounding areas. We do have collection points for the three disabled children homes we support in these trying times, namely Chancet Wood, Rygate and …

Went along last Tuesday to a local bike meet at what used to be an old cafe - now a personal museum. Had a go on this little beauty: An old Honda Greeves. Just had a downpour so the grass was a little slippery but great fun nonetheless! Wont let me upload any more pics!

Never heard of this before but its on 1st and 2nd August

The show is north of Sheffield in the village of Harley and starts at 1pm, from Chapeltown travel north on the A6135, this road crosses the M1 motorway then look for the village of harley on the right after half a mile.There will be numerous Classic Cars and Motorcycles, plus a band and a marching band, a beer tent, a sandwich shop also selling tea/coffee and soft drinks, there is the usual burger and hot dog stall, along with other stalls selling items from children toys, bricabrac to motor spares. Its only a quid to get in and its well worth it just for the eagle and owl bird show alone. See you there hopefully. Cheers Ray.

Its on again next sunday, not a bad show, just a local jaunt for an hour or so.
