tanked up the TDM yesterday and went for a fast ride up to Devils bridge in the lakes. I didn't hang around and that lovely torque had me passed a longer line of cars than I though possible, nudging 110 in some parts. One thing with all this behaviour, it tests the suspension on the twisties and sups fuel. I usually get 210 miles to a full tank, well yesterday I got 180. whats the big deal? I now know which position the reserve tap points to as I ran out at Rivvington on the Bolton road. Bollocks! Phoned the missus to bring me some fuel, and she said after I've finished work ( another hour) so i waited and waited, 4 hours later she turns up…

Had a blast today, rode 100 miles to New inn first for a meet up and scram, then off to the factory at Castle Donington. Their factory is MIA offices and still is, so its a bit sureal as the carpets are still down and staff look like they just mill around not looking very busy. What a great job. we went round the assembly area and was told they are gearing up for the new V4 Norton raod bikes which they hope to make 3k per year. looks like the old twin may be making way as they are also doing a twin version by keeping just the from 2 front cylinders to make a 650cc bike. Had a craking night tonight. Got out of work early and already went to work on the TDM, so moseied off to Winfields in Haslingden for a coffee and cake and an ogle at the bikes in the Cafe. foggies bike It was only 5:30 so I detored to Pendle and stopped to admire the view near the dry ski slope got to Great Harwood by trial and error. it in, 2016 Squres meet The date for the 2016 gathering has been agreed with Squires, its going to be the weekend of 9th, 10th, and 11th September. That weekend avoids a clash with the IOM classic TT and just about keeps to our traditional slot of early September. I reckon the format will be identical to this year which seemed to be big success.... Friday night in the Café for a few beers ,Saturday rideout, Saturday evening in the Bar for beer and banter, then another ride on the Sunday... Had a ride out today to a place called Knott End. Its the opposite side of Fleetwood. Wednesday is bike night at the cafe and being such a lovely evening decided to go for it. took the long way round through some lovely countryside and took about 2 hours to get there.

too nice to stay in and I was camping over weekend so didn't get my biking fix. Saw that there was a meet at Lytham St Anns so headed over there to check it out. Stopped at Lytham Windmill as it looked very pretty. the meet was crap and too clique for my liking. Coffee and cake was nice though

Day two saw Tommy XS and Myself travelling down to Whitchurch and on to Aston to see the Classic bike show at Bhurtpore Inn. Another sunny day although a bit windy Tommy's new colour scheme for his xs Excellent quality bikes at the show again, and what's more it was free to get in
