....a good access to some great off-roading areas yesterday. I went out for a spin with Road Rash from Trail Pilgrim.com...we found a good way into an area where he used to ride back in the 80's & that I knew of for quite awhile. Goat Mtn. has always been a good area for some off-road action ever since I 1st heard of it.....not to mention some great views As you can see, we ran into a little snow on the way up..... It was pretty chilly, especially in the shady areas.....but actually warmer than the past few days have been around here. We found plenty of evidence that this area is still alive & well for off-road use......Trails everywhe…

As a trucker stops for a red light, a blonde in her car pulls up alongside. She jumps out of her car, runs up to his truck, and knocks on the door. The trucker lowers the window, and she says "Hi, my name is Sharon and you are losing some of your load." The trucker ignores her and proceeds down the street. When the truck stops for another red light, the girl again catches up. She jumps out of her car, runs up and knocks on the door. Again, the trucker lowers the window. As if they've never spoken, the blonde says brightly, "Hi, my name is Sharon, and you are losing some of your load!" Shaking his head, the trucker ignores her again and continues down t…

Hi chaps & chapesses, happy new year to you all. This photo is of my arai astro j lid. I recently took a tumble from my bike during which the lid took a glancing blow on the road. As you can see, just above the visor-hinge(?) there is a 1p coin-sized chip off the paintwork but NO other damage whatsoever. Should I be thinking about replacing it? The scrape seems too superficial to warrant the expense of a new lid. I thought that until next year, maybe, i could touch it up with some light filler silver touch-up paint or even filler and a sticker any suggestions gratefully received. I enquired at a bike shop but all thay wanted to do was flog me…

And I'm not afraid to admit that I've struggled! Like today, I had to be careful I didn't get sunburnt! And the offroading has been done in treacherous conditions! Hell....I nearly got sand in my shoe once! But I can handle it! I'm hardcore I am!

Afternoon folks, After doing the whole fast car thing I've decided to give the whole two wheel malarky a try as well! I'm yet to take my test but I've bought a 1999 R6 so thought I'd sign up as these places tend to be really handy when your a bit stuck. Thanks folks and look forward to using this forum!

well wednesday was my first day back at college and i had been on holiday all of christmas and new year so i decided i would ride in. so i got up at 7 and put it on charge and went back to bed as i didn't start till 10. got up later and it fired up so went to college. as i was going round a mini roundabout my front wheel skidded on a double man hole cover (the smooth ones) and left me. Wednesday went for a ride. Bouy was it great to be back on the bike. What a joy to feel the bike moving around underneath me. Been out again today for 1 1/2 hrs after finnishing work. The route is: From work(redfield) up the A420 through Kingswood to Warmley, up Tog hill to the A46 then to Bath. Stay on the A4 through Bath. Then to Saltford, on the Keynsham bypass and staying on the A4 into Fowlers for coffee. A bit of everything and very enjoyable for a quick spin.
