Well here is my car on the M4! My car was caught doing 97mph which is a bit of a bummer as upto 95 is a fixed penalty so now i have a notice of intended prosecution and have to goto court :-( There website is pretty cool as you can get to see the pics, they cant show me the video though as i have to goto the police station to see it. And apparantly im not allowed a photo without my passenger blurred as its against data protection, which i think is a bit odd. I'd like some feedback here. The newest bike I've ever ridden was my 1993 FJ1200. The oldest bike I've ever seriously ridden was a 1938 AJS. I spent years on a model 18-and showed some much more powerful bikes the way around!!! Had a Z1 Kwakka for a while. Ducati 750. Gold Wing. Lots of bikes. Even a James 197cc two stroke! I've just been looking at the comments on the new R1. My question is this: If I got on one of them, how much difference would I actually feel (as compared to say my current XJ900)? Would I be blown away by the performance? Handling? What? I was impressed by the FJ1200 but didn't feel it was a whole world ahead of my older bikes. I'm not s…

What great racing at the weekend Chris Walker was really going for it with JT. Vermeulen should have had the second race in the bag when his sprocket went. Can`t beleive there are stil so many seat not taken yet for next year.

I was just over on the V-Max Owners Association. They have a really dignified section where they say farewell to riders who have died, either on the road or of natural causes. My own club (Ulysses) has a segment in the magazine called "Ridden On" where we pay tribute to those who have gone before. I notice that some of our members ride on too. This is a pretty rough and tough site, no prisoners taken (I'm as guilty as anyone) but wouldn't it be nice if we had a corner to remember absent friends? Anybody else think this might be a worthwhile addition? I'm going to post this question elsewhere, so please don't be negative about my idea.

1. There is a vast difference in grounds with regards to length and width, thus varying the quality of play. 2. Pitches vary from the well grassed to the completely bald. 3. Remember, it is possible to score at both ends. 4. Tackling from behind is not always an offence, check with ground owner. 5. Be careful, as after a few pints a ground appears to be of premiership standard, but in reality would not even be eligible as a council dumping ground. 6. Only some grounds offer five a side facilities. 7. Don't ever make public your desires to play at Wembley, also never mention pitches previously visited. 8. Extra time is dependant on subsequent pi…

Yamaha has signed Rossi and Edwards, but has no sponsor for 2006. In spite of winning the title for two years in a row, an extraordinary tangle caused by owing so much to Rossi that his conditions were accepted at the expense of the factory team’s major sponsor. Unless Rossi agrees to ride under Gauloises colors, Altadis will withdraw both Gauloises and Fortuna sponsorship from the premier class and may take legal action against Yamaha. Altadis believes that having Rossi listed as a rider on a “satellite team” in 2006 outside the Gauloises-Yamaha sponsorship agreement constitutes a violation of the spirit of the Altadis-Yamaha contract for Gauloises sponsorship for 2006…

Ok , he might have only finnished 2nd. But that was enough to get him his 5th straight top flight title! Who will be able to stop him before he leaves? IF he can be beaten. What a great race tho. Ducati and Loris Capirossi are strong at the mo can they make it 3 on the bounce at Qatar?

The FBI had an opening for an assassin. After all the background checks, interviews and testing were done there were 3 finalists. Two men and a woman. For the final test, the FBI agents took one of the men to a large metal door and handed him a gun. "We must know that you will follow your instructions no matter what the circumstances. Inside the room you will find your wife sitting in a chair. Kill Her!" The man said, "You can't be serious, I could never shoot my wife." The agent said, "Then you're not the right man for this job. Take your wife and go home." The second man was given the same instructions. He took the gun and went into the room. All was quiet fo…

Sorry been away for a while on the old banger. Little cruise around Europe. Spain, France, UK, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Andorra, oh nearly forgot Liechtenstein. 9137kms in 5weeks, 400litres of juice. Trouble is my 14month old YP400 has now done 31000kms. Bloody usless these scooters you know. Thinking of writing a letter to Yamaha, Dear Yamaha my moto makes a funny noise when I get it over 2500m above sea level.

Tonight I went to the football, and saw my team get knocked out of the finals. (They were terrible!!!). On my way home, a Yamaha XV 1700 pulled up alongside me at the lights. They changed, and he just sailed into the distance, despite the fact that I was accelerating so hard my front wheel was only just skipping along the ground. (And his exhaust note was utterly gorgeous!) I haven't heard from my lady friend for three days. Is it any wonder that at this moment I am the drunkest person ever to post on this forum? I take comfort that there is another bottle of Scotch in the cupboard. Does anyone blame me?

And here it is....a new XT660R! No point in me waiting for the 55 reg cos the XT will be the one that goes to Spain, and will get re-registered there. The ideal bike for Spanish roads I'd say! As for the TDM....it's a very good bike. But I just couldn't get on with it...particularly the handling. Even though the TDM was faster and had better brakes than the Strom, in every other area the Strom just whips it's ass. I've always wanted one of the new XT's....and the Spanish relocation plus the great deal just forced my hand. What's it like? I've done 120 miles on it and so far it seems to me to have similar performance to the Trans…
