hi there. bought myself a new(second hand) front wheel for my fzr600r, only it does not fit! dimesions are 3.5x17 and casting number is F-48. ITS FOR AN 89 BIKE BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT MODEL. CAN ANYONE SHED SOME LIGHT ON ITS ORIGINS. CHEERS.

Trying to find out how many XS650 twins (1970-83) were manufactured. I've heard the number is approximately 500,000 but haven't been able to confirm that figure through a reliable source. Has anybody seen any production figures from a reliable source? Or, better yet, does anybody know how to get them from Yamaha?

Great to see Nitro Nori back in the hunt for some WSB points with a podium finish in the 2nd race @ Silverstone today! Pulled off a 4th in the 1st race due to a fuel delivery prob.........but got the holeshot in the 2nd race & ended up getting a 3rd when the checkers came out Also interesting to see the Ducati boyz give Corser some grief @ the front too.

Recently bought a lovely XS 850 and everything in the garden was sweetness and light until all the indicators packed in last weekend. No problem it's the fuse I hear you say. Sorry no. A bulb had blown so I thought the flasher unit had bit the dust as a result. Where is the f***ing thing. Found the cancelling unit and loads of other stuff but no relay/flasher unit. Please help a poor demented old soul..

Hi all, after some advice, I have been living in europe for the last 5 years. Earlier this year i purchased my shinny new fz6, howerver the situation has changed & i have come back to blighty. I woke up this morning (always a bonus at my time of life), got the paper off the porch, made coffee, and sat down for a read. Turned to the classifieds, then went out and bought a 1985 XJ900! I wasn't planning anything beyond another cup of coffee! I only have two excuses: 1. I have never seen an old bike in such perfect condition. and 2. It's my 60th birthday soon. Oh, OK, and 3.
