Hi All, I have just bought a 1990 FZR 600 Genesis , and not had a Yamaha before, and have a few questions : Is there a difference between the FZR600 and the Genesis ? are parts interchangeable ? The bike had a crash (with my nephew on it) which smashed the full fairing / screen /Clocks etc, is there any particular place I can get replacements? Everything else on the bike is fine, is there any peculiarities or endemic problems that I should watch out for ? Tks Anthony

Yuck......!!! Can Cold Water Clean Dishes? This is for all the germ conscious folks that worry about using cold water to clean. John went to visit his 90 year old grandfather in a very secluded, rural area of Georgia. After spending a great evening chatting the night away, John's grandfather prepared breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast. However, John noticed a film like substance on his plate, and questioned his grandfather asking, "Are these plates clean?" His grandfather replied, "They're as clean as cold water can get them. Just you go ahead and finish your meal, Sonny!" For lunch the old man made hamburgers. Again, John was concerned about the plates as his appea…

Baldy posted this on the Aircooled forum The Men's Names – (scroll down for the women’s names) Aaron - ugly but hung like a horse, prone to belly button fluff. Able - totally useless. Adam - not very bright and not very pretty, has almost mastered hygiene. Adrian - usually short and very horny, watches cartoons. Alan - shy but sensitive, gets screwed over by women. Alex - cute and tall but a liar and a cheat. Alistair - likes being tied up, and really enjoys playing with train sets Amir - dirty, smelly, pecker is minuscule. Bad diet. Curtain Rods He spent the first day sadly packing his belongings into boxes, crates and suitcases. On the second day, He had the movers come and collect his things. On the third day, He sat down on the floor in the dining room by candlelight, put on some background music, and feasted on a pound of shrimp, a jar of caviar, and a bottle of Chardonnay. When He had finished, He went into each and every room and deposited a few half-eaten shrimp and caviar, into the hollow of the curtain rods. He replaced the endcaps on the curtain rods, cleaned up the kitchen, and left. When the Wife returned with her new boylfriend, all was bliss for the first few days. Then slo…

Back in the days of steam locomotives, the engineer was the prince of the engine and made a princely wage; and the fireman who broke his back shovelling coal into the firebox was down at the bottom of the pecking order, and was paid as such. On one particular engine that pulled the daily local freight train, the engineer was forever bumming a chaw of chewing tobacco from the fireman. Every day, after they had cleared the yards and had a good head of steam, the fireman would lean on his shovel, mop his brow and take a wad from his pack of "Red Man", whereupon the engineer would say, "Hey, let me have a dip." The fireman conspired to put an end to this: He arranged to have …

OK its blowing a gale outside, my hangover, brought on by low quality beer, is slowing me up and the new tyres I have just bought and fitted are great but I have managed to lose the wheel spindle nut and cannot reattach the front wheel. Im going for a beer. Does anybody know when the next Bike show in the South west is happening?

I was sitting in the front room this quiet sunday evening, when I heard the sound of a sports bike being revved, this is usually a sound that is music to my ears, but something was not right. I live at the end of a long cul-de-sac not ideal for top speed runs. When this bike (i think it was an R1 - moving too quickly to be exact) came hammering into the end of the close being ridden by a helmetless lune. He ran out of road so took to the pavement riding past my front door at about 30mph. He left the close after nearly totaling my neighbour and her small baby. If you are reading this Mr R1, then congratualtions, you are a great ambasidor for motorcycling and its mor…
