Well pretty much just for Pete's amusement ..... Here's a coupla glimpses into the work-week digs of the YamaHead..... This is where I reside @ the present ..... It's a proper Biker's Pad.......complete with Chain Lube & Carb Cleaner conveniently parked on the stovetop! ......as well as a fridge packed full of Deschutes Ale's......Killer local Beer! It is kinda nice to know that thing's are right where I left 'em.......NOT the case when the misses & my little lad are around & gazing @ sight's like this everyday, more than make up for the down-sized living quarters ..... Definitely got 1 up on all the other poor slobs …

Hi I have just become a member of this site and I am wondering if anyone has any good info regarding the fairing mounted mirror conversion that some people seemd to have done to their Divi's. The reason for this question is that Yamaha want £45 pound to reeplace the left hand mirror that has broken on my bike due to some muppet hitting it while the bike was parked up, and I have seen on some of the websites fairing mounted mirrors for about the same price and they doo seem to look good.

Hi all. Passed my test last week and went out at the weekend and bought a Blue Yamaha Thundercat as my first bike. Chose this bike after much research and the fact it was cheap to insure. Just thought i'd drop by and say Hi and request any info on riding skills if possible. I'm just looking to build on what i've learnt. Thanks Andy

posted by one of the girls on south west bikers forum To My Dear Wife, You will surely understand that I have certain needs that you, being 54 years old, can no longer satisfy. I am very happy with you and I value you as a good wife. Therefore, after reading this letter, I hope that you will not wrongly interpret the fact that I will be spending the evening with my 18 year old secretary at the Comfort Inn Hotel. Please don't be upset - I shall be home before midnight. When the man came home late that night, he found the following letter on the dining room table: My Dear Husband, I received your letter and thank you for your honesty about my b…

on’t throw away those large plastic beer and cider bottles. Drink the contents first. Collect plastic packaging and empty plastic food containers, and store them until you have enough for one large bonfire. Having several small bonfires is inefficient. Pick a day for your bonfire when there is a stiff breeze. This way, all the little burning smuts of plastic and the choking fumes will be carried away from your garden. Think about cycling instead of driving for a second. A second is plenty long enough. Vegetables are a good source of vitamins, minerals and fibre, so eating them is recommended. Eating vegetables needn’t be expensive. Steal next-door’s potato peelin…

As I say every year, Scott's a great guy and a real biker....though his personal grooming does leave a lot to be desired! And how much longer can the bloody Line Dancing Hillbilly get away with claiming to be younger than me? And how much longer can he deny using hair colourant? He might fool the rest of the Trailer Park....but he's not fooling me! So let's hear it for Scott.....and as a Birthday treat, here's his all time favourite! "But don't tell my heart, my achy breaky heart I just don't think it'd understand And if you tell my heart, my achy breaky heart He might blow up and kill this man Ooo"

A man walks into a drug store with his 8-year old son. They happen to walk by the condom display, and the boy asks,"What are these, Dad? To which the man matter-of-factly replies, "Those are called condoms, son. Men use them to have safe sex." "Oh I see," replied the boy pensively. "Yes, I've heard of that in health class at school." He looks over the display and picks up a package of 3 and asks, "Why are there 3 in this package? " The dad replies,"Those are for high school boys, ONE for Friday, ONE for Saturday, and ONE for Sunday." "Cool" says the boy. He notices a 6 pack and asks, "Then who are these for?" "Those are for university lads," the dad answers…

Jsu taken delivery of a brand new FZS, first bike in 25 years! Absolutely awesome - BUT. I am 6' 3" and am surprise by the buffeting from the wind at anything over 80. Anyone tried an alternative to the standard screen and if so what do you think of it? I notice there is a factory aftermarket screen with the curvy top (whats the proper name for it) does it do the biz as far as wind is concerned?
