I've been looking online at the much needed oil filter relocation kits. There are several brands and types. Question is which one does the best, looks the best and the better at working on. Anyone have any comments on the one they got. I'd appreciate any and all comments. Thanks

I'm new to the site and would just like to say a quick hi to everyone one. So glad I stummbled across this site, it seems so full of help and info. My names Gareth, I'm from Leicestershire and I have a 2001 R6. If anyone is intrested in meeting up locally for a ride out with myself and a couple of my mates (R1's) don't hesitate to contact me. We're not pro's, just a decent small group who enjoy riding out.

Hi there, just bought an xj diversion s 1998 (12500 miles) and i've noticed a very slight oil leak at the front of the head just below the where the manifold joins it, it dosen't seem to be affecting the bike's performance in anyway, but should i be worried and what could it be? its my 1st big bike, am i just over-reacting? cheers karim

Hi. gang. Recentley bought a 2000 w reg xjr 1300 sp. Although very pleased with the bike, looks, grunt, accelaration etc. Took the bike on a short tour of the cotswolds and shropshire, with my wife, tank bag and panniers. Found the rear shocks were not quite up to the job and found it to be bottoming out and even grounding the main stand in some uneven corners. Before we set of, id put the shocks on the hardest setting (2 clicks with the c spanners) and the circlip above the shocks is in the fourth groove. Any tips on stiffening further, or at 30,000 miles do you think the shocks are past it.

Hi all, i've just started biking again after a few years off (too big a mortgage and no dosh for a bike!) Also suffering a mid life crisis, bought a cruiser 6 weeks ago and hated it so I changed it for a 2003 Fazer 600. A superb bike not too heavy on the insurance and great to ride. Just found this site today, looks good. Cheers

Where can I find a replacement kick stand that has the locking cam mechanism (or another locking device) that engages when the weight of the bike is leaned on it. It prevents the bikes kick stand from rolling up, if the bike is shifted forward, when weight is on it. I've seen other bikes with this feature and think its pretty cool.

Hi all, as i've said in a previous post i've had my first bike delivered today, to be sensible i thought i'd get alot of good clothing etc, i bought Dainese Delta leather trousers and jacket, when i tried them on in the shop the jacket felt abit tight and the trousers were fine, apparently the jacket should be tight and you should just about be able to get your hands in your pockets which i can, now the fella also sold me a KNOX back protector, now when i put this on the trousers and jacket are really tight as i guess it adds a couple of inches as it goes into your trousers at the back and sticks out round your back. I don't want to take the labels out as it's £520 wor…

So its been 2 weeks since I completed my MSF basic course, and im going nuts waiting for the waiver to come in the mail so I can go out riding. Anyone know about how long it takes? Everyone tells me something different, one guy I knew said I would get it at the end of the class, another says 2 weeks, another 3 weeks another 4 weeks + Im just going insane, I can barely get out to ride now since my friends with bikes also have wives who never let them out. So until that waiver comes I can only ride twice a week to work and back if im lucky.

Just a little intro on myself. I rode while in college, then got married and stopped. (big shock) Now, I've gotten back to it with a little 88 FZ 600. It runs really well, and has enough power for me as I am just getting back into it. I'm interested in working on it so if anyone has any ideas of what types of modifications will work on this bike I'll look at them all, no matter how crazy. Especially exhaust, intake, front forks, swing arm ideas. It's great getting back on the bike!
