So when I bought my xv125 I had a hose I'm pretty sure was attached to the carb and just hung down, I attached to air pod and filter and since then it's now only attached at the air pod and can't find the bit to attach to to the carb, can anyone point me in right direction, I've read service Manuel and can't seem to see where it is

Hi all, Hope everyone is well and hope it’s ok to post this…not selling anything or looking to spam anyone! I have a quirky and fairly urgent request for help please…and hopefully I can give something in return! I know this is a bit of a long shot, but I am looking for a Yamaha XSR 700 to record the audio for, for a videogame. I work in games, and have recorded quite a few bikes now, for a Moto GP game a few years back, and a more recent Ducati game, so have done this sort of thing before. This is for a new game – Ride 2 by Milestone. They are making efforts to make their games sound better, so we have recently been drafted in to help! My company is called TheAudioG…

I have a XS750 that makes a horrible noise when operating the starter motor like it is slipping. I have put a kit in the starter clutch which comprises of rollers and springs. I have also replaced the gear that attaches to the clutch that the rollers make contact with because the old one had some grooving. I don't know what to do next. It turns over a few times and then slips while making this horrible noise. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My son rides an Aerox 50yq. We keep going through headlight bulbs and it has been suggested that we have a fault lighting resistor. I cannot seem to find this part anywhere to purchase? I am wondering if I buy a complete headlight kit will this come with a new resistor or will I have the same problem with the new headlight set?

Ok so I noticed yesterday on my XV125 the speedo states Km/h on it and has the usual speeds up to 100, obviously at first you would assume the numbers are in Km/h but they don't as I've checked with phone trackers and such, anyone know why is this. Doesn't say MPH at all on speedo

Hi everyone The newbie is here again. I have my first manual bike after having a scooter for 4 years, and I am trying to get used to checking the chain tension......and it isn't going very well!!!! I checked the tension and according to Haynes Manual it was too tight so I have adjusted it to what it says, however I don't think the wheels are aligned now. Is there an easy way of finding this out, I have tried the string way and this is so fiddly I'm not confident it has worked. I think it is out of alignment as when I'm riding along the front wheel feels light - and ive lost my confidence going round sharp corners because a couple times it felt…

Took the FZ to the dyno today to see if any mods i have done were any good. best run was 60.09hp which is 5hp over stock. Without changing the carbs thats as much as the racers get, so i'm well chuffed interesting that the operator said I could go down a jet size or try and weaken the lower end. the bottom graph is the fuelling and the median line is what we're aiming for. theres a couple of flat lines there where it so rich the dyno can't measure it. I also have a dip in the 5.5k rpm which is about 10 hp worth there. which is where it is rich. the rev counter reads 500 rpm under but as the main gains are around 9 - 9.5 I suppose its not much poin…

Riding again for the Yamaha Factory Racing Team will be Katsuyuki Nakasuga, the defending champion and current holder of four consecutive titles in the pinnacle JSB1000 class of the All Japan Road Race Championship, and MotoGP regular Pol Espargaró, who put Yamaha in pole position last year with an incredible flying lap, despite it being his first time to race at Suzuka and aboard the YZF-R1. The two star riders that helped bring Yamaha its stunning Suzuka 8 Hours win last year will be joined by Alex Lowes, who rides for Yamaha in its return to the World Superbike Championship this year. The team manager will be Wataru Yoshikawa, the current manager of Yamaha's All Japan …

Hey peeps!. Not been online much recently, inbetween buying cars in from Japan, rebuilding my boat and galavanting around the world with work it seems that FUCR has been left in the corner of the garage now surrounded by DT125LC bits, f*ck knows where the XJ Turbo has gone and the DT50 hasn't been seen for months. Currently i'm out in Cyprus, and tbh it gets boring here, you can either become a gym monster or a beer monster, pumping iron isnt my thing and there's only so many times you can wake up in the middle of nowhere naked in a pool of your own bodily fluids before you start to question your direction in life, so whilst most people bring a book/kind…
