Hello, everyone. Im new to this forum, so hope to get many tip and advice from you all. I did my CBT a few months ago and decided to go out and but a YZF R125. Its a lovely bike and im not sure if id ever go bigger. Im thinking of taking my test on my own bike. What would be the best way to go about this and what restrictions would i have presuming i pass? I have heard that i could ride around on my own bike for two years and then go and buy a 600 if im upfor it. Is this true? What advice has anyone got for the new style test and is it easy? Thanks in advance. Connor James.

So currently Im trying to rebuild my dads fz750 that he raced back in the day at daytona, pocono, and such. I think I have most of the parts I need and thanks to djcrow on here I have a manual to help me as well. The bike is currently in pieces and my task is to put it back together. My problem is that all of the bolts for the bike are in several diffent drawer, none of which are labeled So My question is what advice do you guys have so I can figure out what bolts go where? the manual has many pictures but most are not detailed enough to tell which bolt goes where. So please give me any advice you have! Im just trying to get this thing running again like back in the …

Had a near miss last night from work Was riding thru' freckleton going home. There is this slight bend to the right, (no more than 20° I'd say). On the inside of the bend, there is a newsagents where there was a car parked. An oncoming car is ovrtaking the parked car, at which point the driver of the parked car gormlessly opens the door, the overtaking car consequently swerves into my lane (Narrow lanes) I have to nearly swerve onto the footpath, If I didnt swerve as much as I did, - well, it would have been nasty... bloody gormless driver!...

3 guys are sitting in a house smoking cannabis. after an hour they run out so one guy says "we still have a lot of tobacco, I will go into the kitchen and make up a special one". Off he goes to the kitchen and with the tobacco he mixes cumin powder, corriander powder, garam masala powder and curry leaves. he rolls the joint and, on returning to the main room, he lights up. After one drag he collapses out cold. An hour later he is still out so the other 2 guys take him to the hospital. "What has he been smoking - cannabis?" asks the doctor. "No" say the guys and tell him what was in the last ciggie "Ah" says the doctor. "He will be out cold for 3 weeks" "How do you…

I decided to get a pack of 3 for the weekend so I got these In case it rains I thought I would try and cheer things up a little. A piece of tarmac is standing at the bar chatting up twin zebra crossing signs. He is boasting how tough he is. “I am the toughest road in the world” he says. “Everyone is scared of me” The twin zebra crossing signs giggle. “Cyclists, car drivers and truckers are all scared” he says. “I even scare Yamaha riders” At this stage the girls are getting a bit wet. The next minute the doors of the pub are kicked open and a slab of red tarmac walks in. The red tarmac shouts “I am the toughest thing in the world”. The loud mouth piec…

I have found a toggle switch located next to the pillion seat release key on my 2000 R1, I know the bike had a lot of work done to it ie quickshifter, dyno jet kit, ram air box when it was new in 2000. Has anyone got an idea what this could be ?? The bike seems faster with the toggle swithch in the up position !!

Greetings, I'm brand new to bikes and brand new to this forum, so Hi there all! Got my CBT around 3 months ago and had my YBR 125 (just under 3 years old) for around 2 months. Had a few issues with sticky and occasionally slipping gears, but looking around that appears to be normalish. My question today is about what I can only describe as a 'clattering' noise coming I think from clutch/gearbox. When stood still there is nothing loose and no noise when reving the engine. I hear it when riding in gear with little to no throttle or during gear changes. I plan to get it serviced in a week or so, but I want to know if I should stop riding i…
