Now I'm not putting trike riders down as we all have our preferences............but I'll start the story here.........I was driving my car down the road (as you do) and I was behind a trike, rider just had geans and T-shirt on, NO LID and this go me thinking (always a 1st I know) When out on my bike I often get smacked in the head by the odd passing BEE and at speed you really feel it through the lid and of course hear the THUMP as it strikes the LID. Now 99% of the time it hits the visor and this got me thinking....................just how much must it hurt at 60 mph when riding a trike with no lid on as you pass a field full of rape seed, bee's and other f…

Any1 tried riding one of these?... I had a crash course (literally) when I went to India abt. 3 years ago.. Never been on a bike before learning on an Enfield... So for me, gear changing on the Right and brakind with the left foot was normal... Great fun they are!.. but not when they land on you because you try to avoid a bullock heading for a collision course (totally oblivious those things!!!) The best thing about riding in India is that you dont need to wear a helmet - such a sense of freedom!... - just pop your flip flops an and away you go.. err ensuring you've clothed all other necessary bits.. regards -mits-

okay so most of you may not remember me what with all the fly by night new members coming on to just figure out something and leave. I bought my 1986 yamaha fz 600 about a month or two ago from this buddy of mine. and it wasnt running at all when he gave it to me and then after about a week i got crank and for the next like 3 weeks i work on the electrical system getting things like the light wired up correctly and that type of stuff. I am pleased to say after much toils and labo r and pain i was able to get the spark on port 4 {i havent checked the others yet} but im sure they work fine too. I would have to say that i mostly owe all my success to gareth or as you all ma…

  13. Rant on. Just been into town to get some 2c oil and see some mates, decided to fill up at tescos garage on the way back. forecourt was pretty packed with all the back spaces occupied but 2 or 3 open at the front, i joined a cue of two cars, one of which pulled into the air/water pumping station so i went between two cars which were filling up and pulled into one of the front spaces, leaving plenty of room so the cars behind me could get out (one of which did so without a problem). after i was done refueling i was approached by some miserable bastard who went on about me being a selfish bugger because i was not waiting my turn in the line, which would be fai…
