Hi guys. Just need a bit of advice..... got an FZ400 with a knackered exhaust. Obviously a replacement isn't easy to get hold of..... would I be able to fit a can from an FZ600? What problems would I come up against trying to fit one from say, a CBR400? (Apart from the obvious thing of the brackets being in a different place...) While I know quite a bit about cars, and have done a lot of the mechanical side of the bike, I really don't know about this type of thing and boy do I feel stupid lol. Cheers for any advice :-D

Ive changed the oil and fixed the carb issues now Im just down to getting the points straightened out an collecting a few missing parts (least thats what Im hoping for) Ive been riding for a number of years Mostly Harley's and Triumphs and I look forward to expanding my knowledge of yet another new breed of bike.

Hi there all, Would like to hear some opinions from some people who have been around bikes for a while... this is my first post here so let me introduce my self, my name Aaron from malta soon to be 22. I recently fell in love with a cool looking Yamaha virago vx125s to be exact, a friend of mine has one and is thinking of selling it for approx 1800 euros, this is a 1999 model with roughly 350000km on it. I'm considering to buying this bike but need to know if it's worth buying it, maintenance wise. Do you think the virago is a reliable bike? Is it ideal for a first time buyer like myself? Are parts easy to find? It would help if i got some personal opinions…

anyone know how to go about obtaining a cert of origin from Yamaha......the dealer lost it. I'd buy this bike in a heartbeat, ('00 WR400F) but the owner never picked up the CO from the dealer, he (seller) gave me all the info, paperwork, reciepts, and I went to the dealer he bought it from asking for the CO and the dealer can't find it..... the bike is useless to me without the CO, I want to reg it and ride it on the street and a few offroad parks that require plates.
