I may be in the market for a shed. This would be for bikes and tools only, retaining my garden shed for the mower and the likes. I would like to have the biggest I can afford/get away with/allowed. This will probably be a 10 x 8. I am looking at metal ones due to the lack of maintenance. As I have semi limited access to my rear garden this would be for longer term tinkering and not day to day storage. Any thoughts on the size and material (metal)? I can run power and water (including lights/heat/cooling fan) and was looking to fit a full length work bench down one side. Cheers.

Headed to my local breakers this saturday again for few bits & bobs but gonna have to restrain myself. Last time i was there I spotted an FZR1000, has been streetfightered - fully polished frame, aftermarket exhaust, nice paint job on the tank (kinda dark cherry with pearl finish then tasteful flames airbrushed on) Someone had spent a lot of money on this! Little or no damage to this, think had been stolen & recovered. Will struggle not to enquire when i'm there! Just wondering what interesting things people have found in breakers etc?

One thing i really miss from the moped (the ONLY thing!) is the clock! The YBR125 is a very basic bike, so it doesn't have one, i've looked around and found a few stick on clocks for bikes, but they're either poorly rated or a bit expensive. Any ideas?

As a little background, I used to be a regular on the forum and had a DT175mx. Ended up buying other bits and ended up with 2 DT175mx's both in bits. What I missed was riding a bit and the time to work on the bits so I sold the bits and brought a bike to ride around on. I missed some of the forum banter and am now looking to start a new project. Ideally I want a trails type bike that will suffer the occasional long ride and a few short rides. '70's or '80's and I would guess that a XT500 fits the bill (except maybe the cost). I am looking to spend about £500 on a rolling chassis or £1000 on something better and don't want the total spend, over about 12 months, to cost…

hi peeps i have an ultra short pipe on my 2001 R1,(bloody gorgeous) on a run last week the rev counter was reading 7000-zero, but it cleared after a few miles. the manual says this is an ex-up valve problem, it says it may cause engine damage ?? how serious is this, was thinking it is not recognising the short pipe i have got on, just dont want to fit the old pipe back on it, (well not until the first POOLE meeting anyhow. cheers rolls

Hi, Basically Ive had my Yamaha DTre 125 2007 for a while and Im enjoying the bike, One issue is I cant get the damn powervalve cover off to check my powervalve etc, If somebody could tell me which way the screws go for loosening (anti clockwise?)it would be very handy. I have also heard of jamming the YPVS open? would It improve power? I have done the wiring de-restriction and it made a big improvement (used to lose to my mates r125 lol) Thanks for any replys
