bike failed MOT with bad spokes...all of em lol,any 1 know of any 16 inch rear wheels going,could also do with a complete head light too,think my current one is 7 1/2 inches diameter.

I got ripped off by a mechanic.

My K Reg. Pre-Divvy XJ900F has fallen prey to the dreaded Petrol Tank Tinworm. Bugger! I have tried all of the Snakeoil "Sloshit about-lard it on" remedies, and have had to admit defeat. Scraped it all off and am horrified at the state of it. Asked a quote from Tank Re-Nu in Hartlepool ( Allegedly foolproof solution) £150 plus VAT. Than I'd have to get it painted! Does anybody have a better cure. Good, sound second hand ones are like odourless skunks- rare indeed. I am in Aberdeen. HELP !!! Blue2

I have a 1974 dt 175, but the key it came with was not the original, which works the ignition switch, but not the petrol cap or the steering lock, all of which have the same number stamped into them, so I presume one key did the lot. It would be good to have such a key, if only for the steering lock. But is it possible to get such a key cut from the number stamped on the locks and switch?

I was doin sum repairs on a barn roof on Tuesday and in the corner under a load of junk i came across a 1989- 1991 kdx 125 the owner says its bin there over 15 years .her late husband used it on the farm . and to my suprise she gave it to me . I've to call back to collect logbook etc. anyway i took it home and gave it a good scrub and its in pretty good nick . poured sum petrol in and changed plug and after 3 kicks it fired up and drove fairly ok so i decided to service it last nite done the plug and gear oil but went i took the airliner out it just fell apartt Would anyone no were id get a replacement air filter for it I've checked ebay etc Thanks

Who wants a set of these just for shits and giggles? im gonna play around with it a bit more to come up with some more designs but this is the first The plan is to get some made and park it up at the riders of Bridgewaters branch and see what they think lol

Hi, Got an XJ6 and I'm toying with the idea of changing the front lights over to LED's 1) Has anyone done this on their bike? 2) Got any recommendations as to which bulbs or if its worth it? Cheers in advance

I took the front L-Plate of my bike because it looked proper wank. The guy who owned the bike before me did a really shit job of putting it on. Now my XT 125 looks a lot better without it off, so I have decided to keep it off. I just carry brand new L-Plates in the packet on me, so if the Police pull me I can just say I'm about to put them on. Also I feel like a knob with L-Plates on.

Hi, I just took my mod 1 on a dragstar 125cc yesterday and failed :S the instructor said my handling for manoeuvres like u-turn, slalom etc was faultless but because I couldn't get my bike upto speed through the speed trap (minimum 32mph), I couldn't do the swerve or emergency stop exercises. Any advice on how to achieve this speed on my type of bike? I felt like I was going as fast as I could reasonably go when going around the circuit bend, the max speed I achieved was 28mph

Hi, I got free gloves thrown in with the deal on my bike. They seem ok, but I am suffering from numb fingers in the morning - espcially the 2nd and 3rd finger on the right hand. Would investing in a decent pair of gloves prevent this, or could I be holding the handlebar grips incorrectly? Sorry if this seems obvious, just wondering.

Hello, My visor keeps misting up so much I can't see anything, it does clear after about 15 mins but it is annouying. All air vents are open. Any ideas please?

Ordered a pair of boots of the internet and they don't fit :-( They are UK size 8 and I can't get them done up around me legs. It's now the seconds pair I have tried :-( I have no idea either if I have wide feet - 9.5cm width so quite confused where to go next. Not looking for anything expensive, just want something under £100, that I can use for commuting and walking around the shops etc. Help

Ok so I admit it I am an old fart who when he wants to make a call used to look for a red phone box on the side of the road. Discovered last week that my exhaust had developed a slight leak at one of the small pipes on the bottom right. Attempted to seal it with Radweld which was a glorious failure. It really needs brazing but finding and then getting the work done by a radiator repairer would cost money including the cost of getting the radiator to the shop and it's return. Other options considered included a second hand radiator from ebay or a breaker but the same problem remains. These radiators are about 8 - 10 years old and may be in no better nick than the one I already have so possibly a pointless exercise. Hi All I have not long bought myself a 2009 YBR and I had read that the headlights are not very good on the bike. I looked for alternatives to the HiD conversion and was told to try some osram night breakers or riders so i opted for the night riders. They came today (and I might be being a bit thick here) they have a totally different fitting to the ones in the bike. I was lead to believe it was a straight swap over from the standard to the night riders. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know this sounds pathetic but i have just blown my last 12 quid on these bulbs and as they are from ebay I doubt I'll have much look returning them. Thanks
