im looking to upgrade the currently pants bulbs in the YBR's front light, so that hopefully ill be able to see the road ahead on the ever darkening winter nights ive found http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/H4-Ring-XENON-Ultima-120-Headlamp-Bulb-60-55W-pair.html?bulb_search=b970]this bulb which seems to be compatible... could i simply plug this in without damaging the wiring, as 55w seems a little more than i currently use, and i might have read that a 50w bulb could overload the wiring to the headlight and would it be sensible to replace both main beam AND dipped bulbs with these alternatives thanks

Hi guys, I have snapped the indicator off my YBR125 and need to repair it. The indicator is working fine, just the mudguard holding it on is snapped. I've brought a replacement just don't know how to fix it. It looks like theres maybe three bolts holding the rear fender/ mudguard on but they are in a difficult position to reach and they've slightly rusted. Is it possible to replace the mudguard and rewire the indicators myself or am I best taking it to a garage?

ok, ive got my mod 2 in a couple of weeks, but no more training sessions, so i thought id post a couple questions here first, the highway code says that we shouldn't indicate when there's nobody around to indicate to, but on our test, there should always be an examiner, so would i be correct if i always indicated where appropriate, on the grounds that he is another road user, and needs to see my intentions, even if he is directing me. secondly, speed: this was always a big thing in my trainings, my instructor criticised (in a constructive way i'll add) that i was a little too cautious when approaching what i perceived as a hazard (low visibility, very narrow roads …

  7. ok, so i have my little rxs, and im going to be making it road legal. i would really like to umm "pimp it out" (i think thats the term) 1st id really like to know if i can get some sort of faring. something preferably like this no idea where id get one for a rxs 100 though.. and then lets say i changed the lights and stuff on the bike for led after market lights. what would be my best bet. do i need to re do the whole bike's wiering "start from scratch" to make it all 12v. or would i be able to say leav it at 6v, but make a little pcb. with some transitors and a few caps and put those inline with the lighting so it bumps the 6v up to 12v just for th…

  8. new first-aid device which could help save bikers’ lives is now available free in the north west of England... The air- and water-tight tube contains a card where riders can store vital information about medication, allergies and medical history, along with their personal details. This means paramedic crews at the scene have immediate access to a rider’s medical needs, and it’s information which could prove vital in those first few minutes after an accident. Based on the Crash Card concept created by the Ambulance Motorcycle Club, the Mediform Tube is available free in the North West to riders. The tube comes with a green self-adhesive key shaped sticker, which should b…

ok its me again.. just want to know if there are issues with opening out the exhaust port on the old rxs 100.. i see it seems to be narrow. I assume this is good for idle but sux for power. I also assume this is something lots of people here will have done. i plan on opening it out some so its closer to the round shape it should be. i dint want to touch the inside of the cylinder though. so is there a max size to use for best all round preformance, or just open it to the max ?

Hey guys, I was out riding my '82 XS400J today (has been on road now for 4 days after sitting for 10 years) and out of nowhere i feel like im losing power. Mind you im following the president of my club, so this is not a good thing. We come to a red light, and my front caliper is smoking, bad. It seems the entire caliper siezed, the piston and the slides. went to take it apart to lube it up, and cant even get the bracket assembly off. looking for advise on how to get it off so i can clean and lube it.

I recently sold a video game on eBay to try it out. I have never sold on there before. The guy who won it hasn't paid me four days on, am I meant to do something to initiate the payment? I sent him an invoice with my email and requesting PayPal payment.

ive been riding a YBR125 since April, through the rain and shine, but now, it seems more rain than shine yesterday, my instructor showed me some tricks to keep warm and dry when the wet stuff comes down. I liked the handlebar muffs, which would certainly keep my hands dry (im sick of having wet hands all the time, and drying my gloves with a hair dryer), and heated grips also seem to be a winter essential for some riders but before i go spending money, it would probably be worth checking that they ACTUALLY work, and that my little bike can cope so, first of all: is it sensible to fit Muffs to a YBR? and are there any brands that are incompatible with the YBR bar…
