What came first I gotta know or I will fail at uni. I'm sooo desperate to be a qualified chicken plucker. If you know the answer then where did that come from...??

I have added an inline fuel filter to my 1993 Fzr600 foexeye. I t was running great after I serviced it and then I added the filter and I know I am probably answering my own question here but it is now hard to start and running quite rough like its being starved of fuel. When I bought the filter I asked if it mattered it it didnt sit fully vertical as I knew it would sit on a diagonal but leaning more towards the horizontal. First of all did it need one? Bearing in mind bike has lay for approx 7 years Secondly will it not being totally vertical obstruct the flow of fuel? I presume there is one in the tank just before the fuel exits into the pipe but then again…

I know im not a big poster, but ive left the yamaha family and got this today: Ill never forget my YBR and what weve been through, one day ill own an R6.

Times are hard in the recession therefore I have made sure my bikes are ready for winter ie new tyres, oil, plugs, blankets, pillows, new battery (I don't ride in winter this is just for storage). So I now am broke and can't feed my 7kids and 1 small slave I am left with no choice it's either our pet guinea pigs "twinkle" and "angelface" or the hedgehog my mate flattened last week on the B152 with his trusted reliant Robin. All share a hutch together and the guinea pigs always snuggle up behind Hoggies remaining bodyparts. Duck in a duck why not pig in a hog...????

I've got a xs750 and I can't seem to get it to run, it will fire when I spray starting fluid in the carbs, but won't start on gas...what do I do?

My Mt03 had an error code come up whilst I was riding, it showed PRO, stopped bike and the rev counter stuck at 4000, whilst engine off Left engine off and still showed error code. any ideas and needle stuck at 4000. Bike was running ok,although very heavy rain.

so i finished my yamaha dt125lc2 project back in march, and all is good, but in may i noticed my bulbs kept blowing after a little detective work i cam up trumps, as it ws the summer months it never really bothered me and the problem slipped to the back of my mind, but now the summer months have come to an ebrupt end, i think now the problem needs to be sorted once and for all ,, i stripped my plastics to view my battery, and noticed the earth had come loose and disconnectedm itself. after amending tht problem, i went for a spin up the road and all was well till i opened her up and again like many times before my bulbs blew, first the normal beam then the highbeam,,i…

Can anyone let me know the difference between a Diversion and a non Diversion?I have a '97 600n that Im trying to scource parts for and there appears to be some confusion(or is it just me?).Ive seen bikes of around this era that are or seem to be identical to mine described as a Diversion and others with slight body mods and twin front discs also described as one.I was trying to get a fender extender and the guy on the phone couldnt tell me if the ones they had advertised would fit. Any clarity on this would be most useful.Thanks. Tony.

hey guys I have been messing about with the new bike today and have decided that the current rubber although they look brand new have to go as they have been on the bike for at least 7yr standing in a garage. What tyres suit the bike best? cheers

Am looking for a suitable vacuum to fit a scottoiler on a diversion (the new one). There is a spare blanked tube that looks like it is used for analysis when it goes on a pc, is this suitable? Thanks Wil

Hey folks. Quicky question to pester you all with. I bought my Yam Thundercat 600 about 6 months ago and have noticed there is very little feel from the rear brake? A quick inspection shows the pads seem in good nick and not being mechanically minded I'm not sure where to look next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Andy

Iv just bought a old XS400 DOHC and lookin for parts etc... iv tried Ebay and its sells parts for XS400 but im not sure which XS the parts are for ?? i belive there is a SOHC version therefore i am confused. Will parts for the SOHC version do for my DOHC version ? ( batteries, clutch cables, throtle cables Etc.) i would appreciate any kind of assistance Thank you

Hi.I need a new screen for my 97 XJ600n and am looking at the Puig ones.On ebay they seem to be only listed for a 98 onwards as far as I can tell,does anyone know if the 98 screen is likely to fit a 97 model? Thanks in advance.Tony.

Hi guys I know it is rude to ask for help as I am a new newbie but I am a wee bit stuck. I decided today that I would change the plugs oil filters etc on my recently purchased fzr600 foxeye. I also drained the carbs and put fresh fuel in as the bike has stood for a long time and although running it was very hard to start etc. Anyway I have moved the radiator out the way to get to the plugs but none of the plug keys I have are small enough to get onto the nut have you any idea of the size? Just from looking at it I would guess a 13-14mm socket would this be right? Cheers
