Nearly 2 years ago i had a bad accident. A kid playing chicken ran out in front of me. With no time to do anything i hit the kid who died the next day. For a very long time after the accident i couldn't get back on a bike, even though i new there was nothing i could have done. I wasn't speeding, but the police were'nt having that from day one they have tried to have me sent down for death by dang, but i have stood my ground. Last week i was back in court again for the 3rd day in a row, and the judge throw the case out. Now i can try and get on with riding again knowing that it wasn't my fault. But it will always be in the back of my mind.

just bought the new issue of fast bikes. i read it beacuase it a goodf mag and they don't really concentrate on everything new they have some oldy stuff in as well. also they have write ups about the styaff bikes and there modifications each issue which gives you lots of ideas. anyway it has a 20 min long preview dvd of the Vertical Brits stunt crew. i think its really good and certainly spurs you on to get on your bike! but not necessarily with your front wheel in the air! but would still recomend the mag and the dvd!!! if anyone buys it i would like to know what the bike is that has a union jack painted on it, i think its a tzr 400 but im not sure.

A while back i told you i had lost my car and bike licence due to to many points and been a muppet on the road. Recent (april 5th) i retook my car test (parants perswation they still aint keen on letting me on the bike yet ) and passed that quite easily. Then i went down the town drinking the other night using my full licence as id, and some way or another me and a mate were comparing, and he's got a 25kw restricted licence, but mine said id still got that licence as well, and i aint retaken no bike test, certainly since all my points were from the bike! i rang up the dvla and they confirmed i had a 33bhp licence? how the hell did i get it back without doing anything? lo…

After having been a daily year-round rider for 20 years.......I can think of a couple! But the one that stands out the most is when I was riding this beast 1 morning on the way to work..... ...it was about 4:30 AM, & I had her singin' @ about a Buck & a quarter.....on an undisturbed stretch of freeway....& then everything started to shake so violently that the bike felt like it was coming apart @ the seams! ..... Got to work & found out I had just rode through an EARTHQUAKE @ 3-digit speeds!

This story happened a while ago in Brisbane, and even though it sounds like an Alfred Hitch++++ tale, it's true. John Bradford, a Sydney University student, was on the side of the road hitch hiking on a very dark night and in the midst of a storm. The night was rolling on and no car went by. The storm was so strong he could hardly see a few feet ahead of him. Suddenly he saw a car slowly coming towards him and stopped. John, desperate for shelter and without thinking about it, got in the car and closed the door, just to realise there was nobody behind the wheel and the engine wasn't on! The car started moving slowly. John looked at the road and saw a cur…

Honda XLV650 Transalp v Suzuki DL650 V-Strom v Yamaha XT660R As many of you know, within the last year I've owned each of these bikes...so here's an owner's perspective on how they compare! There's no performance figures like a mag would do...cos there's no point. None of them are designed as performance bikes, and the Strom is considerably quicker than the other two anyway. Firstly....the Transalp! As you all know, this is pretty much an 80's tech bike...with just a few enhancements over the years. In spite of being built in Spain, the build quality is still better than the other bikes. It has a solid feel to it and is reasonably comfortable an…

Two Irishmen walk into a pet shop in Dingle. They head to the bird section and Gerry says to Paddy, "Dat's dem." The owner comes over and asks if he can help them. "Yeah, we'll take four of dem dere little budgies in dat cage up dere," says Gerry. The owner puts the budgies in a paper bag. Paddy and Gerry pay for the birds, leave the shop and get into Gerry's truck to drive to the top of the Connor Pass. At the Connor Pass, Gerry looks down at the 1000' foot drop and says, "Dis looks like a grand place." He takes two birds out of the bag, puts them on his shoulders and jumps off the cliff. Paddy watches as Gerry falls all the way to the bottom, killing hi…
