Seeing how Mr. Eddie Irish has put everyone off with his 'Nam Deranged Foul Mouth  , We thought it was high time that he should be banned!.....hence, No more Eddie Irish......which hopefully will make things a bit more pleasant around here, & provoke some proper biker discussions.....from our ever-increasing member roster

Me mate has just bought KTM 640 LC and he had it covered in this gold coloured waxy crap that evidently protects it through the winter, any of you lot know what it is an where i can get some, cos the shop he got the bike at, M&S up westgate road in Newcastle, would'nt tell him what it is. Lasts all winter then wash it off with a warm power washer in the spring. :?

Me, XT Alan, and Tym have set up a general (non brand-specific) dualsport forum for Big Trailie/Adventure Rider enthusiasts. It's a place where all DS enthusiasts can mix and exchange banter instead of being isolated in individual machine-based sites. Anyway, it's just launched today, so if you like Big Trailies then drop in. The url is: www.dual-sport.co.uk

Following on from the "i'm going to be on TV" thread, which bikes would you like to try, no limits! except 3 yamahas and 3 a.n.others Mine would be- The Tesi type thing with the funny front end. One of the first TZ 700's to see if they really were scary. Any modern GP 250 to compare it with mine. Others - Honda Gold Wing, Can you get the panniers down? Britten V Twin, created by a genius, sadly gone. Late 60's 50cc GP bike with 12 gears and a 500rpm power band, how do you do a 80 mph lap of the IOM on that! OGR

Whilst browsing on the internet for bikes suitable for girls I came across this tip. It's the first technique I've seen for short and petite people that could actually work so I thought I'd share it with you as I'm probably not the only one to have struggled at some point.

The new KTM SuperDuke "streetfighter" ad is getting a lot of buzz on the information super hi-way this week. The 990cc v-twin powered bike is presented by KTM in sort of a music video format with bike and rider doing almost a litany of indescribably illegal acts on the street to a Megadeath-style soundtrack (with multiple F-bombs, by the way) and with even, dare we say it, borderline homo-erotic images of two shirtless men rolling around on the ground "fighting". All with nary a sole professional rider on closed course, always wear a helmet, etc" boilerplate stuck on it. Viable question: Does KTM even have a lawyer?  http://www.990superduke.com/medi…

I've just found out that the new XTs are made for Yamaha in Europe by MBK, the well known  scooter makers. No wonder the finish is so piss poor. Yamaha say thet "the finish is acceptable for this type of bike". To which I say "acceptable to whom?" Even a Suzy GS 500 has a better quality "feel"' It's a good job that I love the XT and that it goes really well, with the peeling graphics blowing in the wind . This is my first Yamaha however and I am of the opinion that this is the worst finished bike I have ever owned. It is a great performer, but every time I clean it I notice another blemish - annoying. Are all Yamahas this bad?
