Sometimes you accidentally find something that works, even though it is so far fetched its pathetic. I have always been under the assumption that if it is not a Harley, its a playtoy -- -- yeah I know, -- -- it's arrogant, if not ignorant as heck --but then life can be that way sometimes . I have recently discovered that I just don't have the strength in my legs and arms that I used to have in the 1940s and 1950s. Riding around had lost a lot of it's pleasure because of the sheer weight of the machine I was riding. I accidentally ran across a young gentleman on a small Yamaha and after riding with him for a while, he asked if he could ride my Harley for a few miles an…

  3. Started by JimVstarClass,

I just had Hard Krome 2.75" Straights, hyper charger pro, and a jet kit installed on my bike. On slow acceleration, the bike seems to be hesitating a lot. I'm just wondering if this could mean the jet kit is not correctly jetted, or if I need a differnt stage jet kit. The hyper charger came with a jet kit, but does not state what stage it is, so I'm assuming it's a stage 1 jet kit. When I give it a lot of gas it runs fine, it seems to only happen when I accelerate slowly. The hesitation feels like it's not getting enough gas. If anyone can help me in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hello all. Not sure if I'm allowed to plug a Website in here? Sorry Moderator in advance if not. Its www.eastofenglandbikers.co.uk We're a very friendly bunch from around Norfolk and Suffolk. The Forums are a chance to have a bit of fun, discuss your machine, ask advice, give advice and generally get to know other people with the same passion. Its not quite as posh as this place, but it would be great if we could get some new members on the forums, so stop by and say hi (and tell your friends). Thanks very much, Gary.

Hello all first of all im new to forum so hello all, im picking up my first bike this saturday which is a yzf 600r tcat. just wondering can anybody recommend a good motorcycle garage in or around Cardiff that can carry out services and mots without me being ripped off. after owning a car for many years i have found out there are a lot of people who will try to rip you off and do shoddy work. ideally i want a smaller firm which is more dependant on his/her reputation, rather than a bigger garage who will let a 16 year old drop out take your engine apart for £120 per hour.. god i sound like my dad next ill be buying a shed. anybody reccomend an…

Well after an un-successful 1st test over a fortnight ago where a little prat chucked a rugby ball into the road when i was doing my controlled turn cost me a failure and another £100! i've FINALLY passed my Direct Access and p.2 - So i've joined the thundercat on the road gang rather than thundercat being cleaned again gang!!! It's been raining today - but as a new novelty - i still couldn't put my bike down today - and absolutely lovin' it! May the good times roll! Regards, Craig.

Megan Amelia was born to us on Tuesday morning at 5.33am after a 56 hour labour! So I need to fit a baby seat to the bikes and maybe invest in a side car (air cooled RD 250 combo?) Anybody know where I can get tiny knee sliders and a really small lid from?
