  1. No nonsense degreaser from screwfix cheap as chips and very effective I've found!
  2. Take it from me, you'll love the triple in the triumph!
  3. Not sure to be honest, there's a thread on here somewhere with dyno results. You could probably have it tested yourself to find out for sure
  4. Realistically no, not without testing it. Just giving you all the facts!
  5. In stock condition the Powervalve shuts off at 7.5k and stops you revving further. Earthing that cable to the frame prevents this just a reminder that if you don't have a full license it's now illegal to ride your bike. Stay safe!
  6. EBay would be your best bet. Or try a bike breaker, think they're quite a rare find though, and not cheap either!
  7. Booked the friday off today so can definitely attend!
  8. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=230830363775&alt=web That's a link to it, matches my color scheme quite well I think!
  9. There isn't a plastic version that I know of, and a replacement one certainly isn't cheap! I'm going for a polisport Halo on my X, which is the same as your bike but with supermoto wheels.
  10. Well I might be on a 2 stroke this year so you'll have to make do with the smoke!
  11. You saying I've got a nice arse Andrew? [emoji6]
  12. Buy another set of originals then?
  13. You can just buy some SM rims and use your original hubs. Problem with changing the whole wheel is that you have to modify things like brake calipers and mountings. Plus you have wheel spacers to think about and sprockets / discs etc. You can pick rims up fairly cheap on eBay
  14. I like the rear sets, and the tail tidy!
  15. Just been looking on that tripletek website, they do some nice stuff!
  16. Been up to 135mph on the triumph (private road of course!) that was some serious buffeting, if I had fillings I would've definitely lost them!
  17. Yeah it's just soooo good in the twisties I'm gonna start stockpiling SD cards for my helmet cam soon!
  18. I'll be doing it on my own! It's about 1300 miles to where I'm headed (Aunties villa) but I'm planning a day in the Pyrenees having a blast! Yeah the street isn't the ideal bike for such things, I was considering chopping it for a Tiger Sport but I think I'd miss it [emoji52]
  19. Awesome! I'm considering some, planning a trip to Europe in August, worried about comfort a bit! My left hand gets achey sometimes, which ones did you get?
  20. Sounds like a good ride Bip, I'll have to join you sometime! Yet to do any of the Peaks really. How are you finding the street with the bar risers now?
  21. Ahh what a situation to be in [emoji14] I've had a busy weekend so far, got the DT down to frame: And ate a shed load of carvery today, success!
  22. Know the feeling, it's what I should be doing. No rush though, the Mrs won't move in till it's done!
  23. That is early Jimmy, I'd be tempted by pro plus and staying up
