    HELLO ALL

Hi, welcome to the forums +1 what Chris says about abit of info from you. Oh and try and not get labeled as a spammer on here, this isn't BCF you know!
  5. Looks good Can you put a how to type thread together please? I'm very interested in the details of what and how needs changing! *Edited version Could you please make a thread outlining the details of how and what you changed to enable you to fit the forks on?
  6. Got any pics ?, sounds like an interesting build.
  7. The thread in question has coerced some of the new members do an intro, but the one post wonders are still frequent. I think Best Rant is a hard one to fill with some of the best rant threads being deleted
  8. A search of the Internet doesn't yield anywhere other than wemoto for spares and they don't seem to stock the parts you want. From what i have read about the Lanza its basically a DT125RE chassis with a 230cc engine, so its possible that the front and rear sprocket will be the same as the RE/DTR. If you want to take some measurements of your sprockets i can compare them with mine to make sure they are the same, as RE/DTR bits are alot easier to get a hold of. As for the gearbox oil seal kit it would be wild speculation at his point to say they are the same but it wouldn't surprise me if they were. maybe some more measurements or contacting Yamaha may answer it. HTH

Welcome to the forum Ross. Great introduction and a nice bike too
  12. Hi and welcome to the forum. I can't help with spares or breakers near/in London, but maybe these online sites can help. Wemoto - http://www.wemoto.co...a/XJ_600/84-90/ AJSuttons - http://ajsutton.co.uk/ Wemoto seem to have a few parts for your bike and I'm sure they will deliver to Iceland. HTH
  13. Read a bit of this thread and you will understand http://www.yamahaclub.com/forums/topic/22778-am-i-turning-into-a-grumpy-old-bastrd/page__p__124708__hl__grumpy__fromsearch__1#entry124708
  14. Read this thread leatherat and you will see why i made that comment http://www.yamahaclu...__1#entry124708 . Can't imagine anyone spending the money required to do that on a <125, especially someone on L-plates.
  15. Just what i needed to cheer me up
  16. Being an ebay watcher myself, its hard not to notice some of the parts for the DTR that are priced up and sell at more than they are new from a dealer. Its crazy to think some people will look on evilbay first before checking new prices . Having read the full thread, its surprising what a few email can do to a seller's mental stability .
  17. A video that was made at the time, that i think pretty much shares my opinion and makes the same point I'm trying too.
  18. €450 Tears would of been just the start if that was me. Happy Christmas to you and yours too m8.
  19. For best photo i would like to nominate this one Can't find the thread it was from or remember the posters name I figure if we get 3+ nominations for each category then put a poll up and pick the best????
  20. Yes Ttaskmaster, I rang round loads of places yesterday afternoon to call out and sort it, quite a few wouldn't touch it because i quote " we don't do vans", despite me explaining it was a corsa with a box on the back, so not really a van. Some of the prices were ridiculous starting from £95 and going up to £210. There was one company from Salford who were very helpful, if you can call advice on how to steal a combo van helpful. I won't repeat it here but you can probably imagine (scariest phone conversation i ever had). Also told me that apparently the basic AA cover includes lost key replacement, so you only pay for the price of the replacement key and the AA pays the call out fee, i haven't confirmed this yet though(?). Keyfax was the only place i went because i didn't have the energy to travel around anymore, i have the flu and just wanted to go back to bed. Well it was done this morning for a cost of £120, which was painful, but less so than walking about in this weather. It was more than the quoted £95 because there is an after market immobilizer we had fitted that needed to be reset or something. Oh and Pat, I have some lube here that would help alot with shoving that bunch of keys you have where i would like to put them! >>>> (enough bite for you ? ) (*Edited 3 times due to stupid line spacing not working right)
