  1. I do believe my bush is just nicely trimmed, but the bike's need to be replaced
  2. g'day from soggy Brissie and welcome. I found a few good places to get bits and pieces from. Even found a place that can make something called bushes ( still nor sure why I need them or what they are for)
  3. What in the world is a Garage? Don't you have a dinning room?
  4. I agree your tool set is abit sad, but just think of all the fun you can have going shopping now I have and am still buying tools when ever Aldi has them on sale. I only have 1 piece that I do not like out of all the ones I have bought ( and only because the battery doesn't hold the charge as well as I think it should). I like the clicking wrenches they make things so easy - the ones that have like an insert in the round bit open end is the same. There is a set that you can use around corners that is next on my list
  5. people are "missing" these screws Now that is the sort of info I need to know and what is an idol screw? is it what I think it is?
  6. I was just joking, I am told by everybody to pls bring a sample. I am doing one better when I get my new exhaust. I am dropping of the old system and the bike then they can sort it to suit what i want
  7. maybe you should have taken a "sample" when you ordered.
  8. Just a Flood update Brisbane has flooded, but the water didn't rise as high as they thought it would. If it would have rained for another 2-3 hrs the way it had been it would have been a lot worse. We were 800 mm on the dam away from a lot bigger flood then what we have now. I am safe and dry
  9. Thanks I should be Ok, but am prepared to evacuate if that need arises. Worst is yet to come the peak should be here Thurs.
  10. Finally found the answer to my fork problem, bought a new set today including new brakes. Had a nice chat to the exhaust man, what a lovely bloke that guy is he understands women. So the bike is semi booked in to get that taken care of in 3 weeks, I better get cracking so I am done by then.
  11. ok I am finally stuck, maybe somebody can send me in the right direction. What front forks fit my xj 750 apart from that models? or how do I determine what will work and what wont? Measuring the holes? lenghts of the black bit on the bottom? Mine ae stuffed and I need to get a new set. thanks

  14. sorry never in the Front room, that is the emergency parking space for when the thunderstorms roll in and there is hail in the forecast. I will work out today how to post the 2 pics I have of the fairing I just bought. No point putting up pics of the bike when it's in bits all over the place.
  15. I am sorry I have no idea how to post a pic on here, will search if that info is somewhere on here.
