  1. someone said it might connect to the gear box. is that possible?
  2. Sorry, I didnt know where to post my question. The only thing coming off of the wheel that I can see is a hydraulic line for the front brake
  3. Hello I need help, I have a 1996 Lanza DT 230 that sat for about a year and a half. Now the speedometer doesn't work. There is power to the display but it just says 0. I know rats ate the wire to my kill switch and the oil line from the pump to the carbuerator and I suspect they ate something related to the speedometer but I don't know where to look. Can anyone offer some suggestions? Thanks!
  4. Hello I need help. I have a 1997 Lanza DT 230 and I need to order some parts to be shipped to me here in Africa. I am not sure where to find them I need: front drive sprocket rear drive sprocket drive chain and gear box oil seal kit. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
  5. My plugs are fouling up too quickly. Where is a good place online to buy plugs from?
  6. I looked all over my town again and all I can find that is close to my plug is a BP6ES. It looks the same but I am concerned about that heat rating of 6 instead of 9. If I melt my piston head, is that easy to fix?
  7. OK good to know. I usually only ride about 5kms at a time so it is probably wise to find the right plug.
  8. Ok I found a Champion N9YC which is the same as NGK BP6ES. It looks a lot like the BR9ES. I was told it is usually used in generators. Is there really much difference in spark plugs?
  9. Hello, I have a hard time buying the correct plug for my bike. It is supposed to use a BR9ES which has threads that are about 1" long. In my town I found a similar plug but the threads are only about 1/2" long. The store owner told me that since it is shorter it won't get as fouled up as my other one. And so far my bike has been running better. But am I hurting it? Thanks
  10. I don't think I can make those and I'm not sure where to find those online. I did order 2 new air filters from the UK today. I hope they come soon. My wife reminded me that the petrol here is often a mixture of petrol, kerosene and water.
  11. thanks for all the help! Another issue I have is the bike sits too low for me. How do I stiffen the rear spring?
  12. so it was imported to Tanzania from Japan. I have a vehicle registration card which says it is a 1996 but I have a hard time believing it too. I think I read that later models were blue. It is in great condition (except for the fouled plugs and smoke) for a '96.
  13. thanks for the link to wemoto. I think mine is a '96 but it looks like that will fit.
