  5. All you old people !!!! What don't make me laugh even I don't consider my self old . I took my first test in 1963 a very similar test to many of you as it didn't really change for years, it was a busy city centre test centre 4 to 6 riders sent out to ride round the block as you approached the guy if he put his clip board up in the air that was the signal for you to do your emergency stop. My second test was due to the dvla cocking up and not adding my bike to my new photo licence and me not checking it and riding about with no licence till I was stopped as part of a routine stop, fair play to the police they took one look at me and my age and said sort it or if we stop you again we will throw the book at you . We'll CBT done theory test done and then the farse a guy in a car following me I was fitted with an ear piece four times he lost me and told me to head back to the test centre where he told me I had pased and he was off inside as they had a bet going as to who had the oldest person to tes, he must have been pleased when I turned up. LOL
  6. The funniest add I have seen for a while. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390791613098
  7. I went through a spate of bike thieves trying to get my bikes like you I have chains galore but still they came back time and time again but I now have three security lights one of which is aimed at my bedroom window the others positioned to blind them,a week after fitting them they came back not only did they get a surprise but it woke me up alerting me to the fact the scum were back, one of them was known to me and had a visit from the police they have never been back so yeh I can recommend them good luck Shaun oh and fit them high enough so they can't cover the sensor
  8. Went out for a good ride but when I got to the snake pass the road was closed air ambulance ! Police every where. http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/local-news/biker-dies-after-head-on-collision-6790856 Sad when this happens not a lot you can say only. If you have not ridden all winter. Take care every year someone is killed on the snake on the first day of good weather .
  9. We'll I have seen on here people post up what they would do to some of the dickhead car drivers out there! We'll a lad off the triumph forum was in court today having done that booted car mirror and doors he was charged with 3 counts of criminal damage the CPS said they are clamping down on riders who take the law in to there own hands. He was fined £550 ,£85 costs and £2100 for repairs his barrister said the only reason he got no points or a ban was because the CPS cocked up and only charged him with criminal damage and not a motoring offence. SHIT it will make me think twice next time a cage driver cuts me up.

  15. It was the first bike I ever wrote off a 1966 royal Enfield continental Gt it was my brothers he had lent it me for the day sadly. He never got it back. He still mentions it when we meet thankfully which isn't very often as he lives in the states . So he won't find out it has come back in another life as a 500cc,it was a 250cc with a beautiful. Red tank which being fibre glass didn't stand up very well to the crash. Glad to hear you are getting one I fulfilled my lifetime dream of an mv agusta this year as bippo. Says you only live once.

might be worth checking out the coils it was something. I should have mentioned it happened. A couple of times to me when the bike was warm I put it down to loose fuses. But never got round to checking out the coils maybe breaking down due to being sat in the damp in all weather,The fuel problem. Not surprised. It was sat outside Of mine for a long time before it sat outside Yours the fuel must be 2 years old at least.must be. Due. A good clean the carbs, the rattle was always there disappears when clutch pulled in
