Hi everyone or should I say Hi Yall I joined the site to help fix up 2 70's enduro's for my grandkids One is a 73 125 and I have it running but with some issues, the other is a MX100 and the battery just came in so hopefuly it will be going soon. Any way I'll be lurking and hunting info.

Hi all just purchased 1975 dt250,not running.After a lot of cleaning and late nights I have got it running,but will only idle for a few seconds.I cleaned the points and it ran better but still a lot spitting, backfiring.I plan on changing the points to see if that's the problem?Can't find any body that knows what size of flywheel puller I need ,or were I can get one? Any suggestions? Thanks

Hey all! Just joined the forum. I need everyone's opinion on a possible bike purchase. Looking at an '83 Virago 920. I haven't looked at it yet, but know it needs a battery and fork seals at the very least. The asking price is virtually nothing (guy I work with is cleaning house). I used to have an '82 750 Virago and loved it. Are there parts available for this bike at reasonable prices? Is it a durable bike? This one has 30,000 miles on it. I was looking at this as a project bike not a buy and drive bike. Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi This is all new to me the forum that is. I am returning to biking after a period away and my wife has just brought me a Yamaha XS750 special brought from e bay a few weeks ago. I had my last bike about 7 yrs ago that was a Yamaha Fazer. Having got this new bike and digging out my old helmet and leathers (the trousers were to small) I am now frustrated as it has no indicator switch so am unable to take it out very far, so it is going to be a lot of time in trying to find one, or rather my wife to do the hunting as I am not very good at that sort of thing. Hi my name is mike iv'e been riding motorcycles since i was fourteen i'm 53 now i took a litle break from riding for about fifteen years but my new son inlaw got me back into riding again i picked up a 1981 yamaha Dt-175-h and started riding with my son inlaw every chance i get ,reminded me what iv'e been missing out on all these years, there's nothing like going for a ride its a great stress relever especialy after a hard day at work ,i like street riding but my first love has always been riding down a dirt trail or through a forest trail nothing like it anywhere

Hello, I am new here as of today! I am into british bikes, but just got into the yamaha's! I just picked up 4 yamaha's the other day, two 305's a 250 and a 350! I will be asking alot of dumb questions as I know nothing about these bikes, so bare with me!

Greetings First time caller from South West London. I am hoping that someone might offer their opinion on some new rubber wear for my 1990 R Exup. The bike was off the road betwen 2000 and 2008 and with a bit of TLC from a friend she has been resurrected. Currently she has very old Battleax on. I don't use her very much (she only has 15K from new) and I tend to do nice dry miles in the country so long life wear is not an issue and something grippy would be nice. Also the manual states a 170 rear. She has always had a 180 on since I've owned her which looks better but I'm hoping someone can remind me of the difference. Thanks

Hi I'm new to bikes but already love them! I've got an R125 and looking to do my test in the next couple of months, and want to be able to understand the mechanics of bikes better. After my test I want to de restrict my bike as I'm 18 and don't wanna spend out on a new bike and gettin that restricted :/ I'd apprciate any tips on how I could de restrict the bike and any recommendations on exhausts or anything like that, found a couple, but as a newb, not got any ideas which would suit best. Hi all, Just thought I'd introduce my self. I'm a new motorcycle rider (CBT 9th April) and I've just bought my first bike. A YBR 125. My aim is to gain experience of riding before going via the DAS route to a full license. I'm 30 and want to keep the miles of my Audi A4 as it's a bit hungry on juice being a quattro petrol turbo. I'll probably keep the 125 even after I get my full bike license as a litle commuter. So it's Hello from me. Danny

Just thought I'd say hello from not so sunny BC Canada. The Canucks WILL win the Stanley Cup this year and I just bought a used MT 01..12000 Kms with Sato pipes, Power Commander, Carbon air scoops and a left leaky fork seal......all for $7500 Canadian. You see so few of these anywhere and none in the US and it seemed to be the right bike/price and time. I'll read through the site and will no doubt be using the forums knowledge through the weeks ahead.

hey guyes, im having problem with my new bike i dont why maybe i messed up but when i ws coming back from central it just stoped goin forward!! i never seen that happend to anything. the bike starts on neutral but it wont go in to next gear when put and the bike dont go forward? whats wrong with it ?? any one know?help
