Hi all, Passed my CBT a couple of weeks ago and got myself a YBR-125 Custom. A few mates were saying I should have something sportier but I'm going to be going fairly slow no matter what I got, so thought I'd go for something which says "I don't care I'm only doing 50!" Also, the fact that I've just turned 40 and getting a bike is purely coincidental and in no way reflects an impending mid life crisis. Honest. Now, anyone know a good tattoo artist in Wiltshire? Hi All, New to the group. I live in Portsmouth. Have a problem which has brought me to this point. Right to the problem took the centre stand off to to get it welded but now can't get the return spring to stay inplace, could any one please email me a picture of the stand and the spring in place. My bike only has one spring as I have seen in pictures of the stand with two. if anyone can help then please email me at [email protected] Andy

Hey all. I just registered tonight because I am getting my first bike tomorrow, which is a YBR 125. I was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction as far as maintenance goes and how it should be kept please? The bike is an 09 and has only done 300 miles but there is some small spots of rust around the bottom, which isnt a big deal but it would look better gone. Does anyone know the best way to do this? I was thinking with a wire brush and some touch up paint. Cheers

Hello guys and gals, My name's Sam i'm 25, a student been riding for bout 8 years. Currently trying to get my xv125 back on the road after it's been in my parents barn for 5 years gathering dirt, rust and chicken s&*t. Got a 650 deauville in pieces in my cellar but got no money so it wont see tarmac for a while yet. Just joined cause i need a bit of technical help and it'll be nice to have a chat bout bikes sometimes.

Hey fellow Yamaha Owners! Just wanted to drop a line introducing myself. I'm a 3rd year rider, still sporting my first bike, a 2007 V-Star 650 Silverado. I stumbled upon this site while searching for solutions to a gas-leak problem I noticed when I got the bike out of winter storage. You guys seem to be very helpful and I look forward to having a reliable source of knowledge from other, more experienced riders/owners. Seth

Hi all, I just registered this morning. I'm in my last year at University and I love the old Yamaha's; don't make em like they used to . I started off with my first bike being a mid 70's dt 100 many years ago, it was stolen, got it back in a bit less than good condition. Then about a year ago I got back into the bikes with a purchase of a 1973 Yamaha RT360. Sold that a couple months ago then I purchased my current bike a 1964 Yamaha YG1. Not perfect condition but not bad for being almost 50 years old. Just had a couple questions regarding oil that i posted in another section. Hope I can gain lots of knowledge from you guys. Nate

Hi Folks, Just a wee intro since I've finally got round to joining the owners club. I've been a biker since I passed my test at the end of september last year and went out and bought an '09 Divvy the same day. I've been out in pretty much everything the great Scottish weather has thrown at me (apart from that month long snow and ice fest we had). Hey All....I live in the States. I picked up an Rd-350 that has been pretty banged up, but workable. I need to get a replacement key for it to get it started (with out hot wireing). is there somewhere I can find this? Key shop....Dealer? or am I out of luck.

Hi all, new to the forum, been biking about a year. Currently live in Norfolk UK. Cut to the point....I need new mirrors for my xt 125 x 07. I hate the genuine ones that are round and am looking for different ones. Yamaha shop said they can only get the genuine. any recommendations from users here? I have a right hand grimeca block with a left handed thread for the mirror to screw into and am unsure of size. Any help appreciated Regards Greg

Hi, just introducing myself.. I bought a second-hand XJR 1300 (2007 model, fuel injected) recently. Have joined this bought because I'm a little nervous about how the bike is running.. Seems very uneven, like one of the four cylinders is out of tune.. despite just having Yamaha sync the throttle bodies. But anyway, I'll go post in a technical section. Maybe I'm worrying about nothing.. but my SV650 and Hornet never ran this roughly. Apart from that, am liking the bike though!

Hi all, I have just found this forum having just restored a 1 owner 7k miles TZR125 (1988). Previously I have had FS1E's, RD350 ypvs, XJ600, as for other makes I have had Suzuki GP100, X7 & RG500,kawasaki GPZ600R & GPZ900R plus numerous others. I'm 43 live in Faversham, Kent.
