Just bought my xtz660 Tenere. Love it. Handles like a dream and so much fun. I'm a Brummie who's been into bikes since about 15. I'm a car MOT tester/Technician but have a good mechanical knowledge of bikes. My list of bikes is extensive (only one at a time though) My yamaha's incl RS100 (1977), Divvie (1991) , YZF750R (1994), XS750SE (1980) and now the Tenere. Its a well kept bike as you can see from my pic. I'm chuffed to bits. VG

HI all im new to this site but already i need you help! Firstly i embarrassingly know very little about Bikes expect how to ride it . This morning i was all ready running late for work and then to make things worse i got on my Bike turned the key,lights all came on as normal,BUT!........no wereing/pumping sound ... tried ignition ,ticks but doesn't start. she had a mot and service about 3 months ago passed with flying colours and was even offered to have it bought from me for over two thirds of the new price! sweet. realy need your help espesaly as i live quite a way from any garage that can help and i dont fancy pushing it min of 6 miles lol Thanks

Does anyone know where i can get some Grab rails for my R6 Y Reg in red and White. Dont wanna pay the earth for them.

Hey guys, My names Andrew and would you believe I'm new I initially joined just to get some technical information about my bike, a TDR 125 but from reading the forums for awhile I imagine I'll be sticking around. People here seem friendly and knowledgeable. Would also be interested to know if any members are from the sheffield area and go on group rides that may be 2T 125 friendly

Hi, How is everyone? I am the IT literate daughter of Gordon, once upon a time he had massive bikes and looked dashing in his leathers....Now he's a grandfather with a wee scooter (XMAX 250). Slight change but he loves it He even talked my hubby into getting his own wee scooter (SYM Eurojet) which is perfect for his commute. We joined because my Dad loves to read and talk about bikes so with me doing the typing he might actually get something out of this. And he has a querie if anyone can help? Hi All, My name is John and I live in North West UK near Manchester. I am now 52 and it is 26 years since my last bike which was a 1976 Honda 750-4 F1, I passed my test in March 1982. I fancied doing a bit of biking again, so I have purchased a 1992 Yamaha RSX 100S which is in reasonable condition (all I can afford at moment, daughter at uni. etc etc !!). I have been preparing it for an MOT and its surprising how working on bikes comes back to you even after all these years, can't wait to get it on road !!. I have a couple of small queries, I noticed when pulling sideways on the rear wheel there is slight play in the swinging arm, is this an MOT fail point …

Hi, There is an incredible amount of knowledge on here and a good online community. So I just had to join! I have just recently passed my CBT back in March and I haven't looked back since! I am an owner of a 2001 Dragstar (XVS125) which has been great fun to learn on albeit it sometimes tricky to perfect U-turns!! I have my theory test next Thursday so I am looking to take on the practical tests soon. However, at this time I need more experience on a bike and the roads before that. I am based in North London so I am learning fast! Nice to meet you all! Ben

Hi Folks, Does anyone know where I can get some cast wheels for my Dragstar 1100 ? It is a 2001 plate and I am fed up with the spoked chrome wheels and would really like something in black. Any suggestions or ideas please give me a shout Thanks Mark

I've just had my pride and joy Fzr 400 stolen and I'm gutted I loved that bike and polished it every weekend. I hope they get whats coming to them :-(

Do you necessesarily need to be young to be a biker? No way! We got new neighbors a few years back. The man in the house was a youngster, not even 40 at the time. And with the large expectations of the youth he bought a motorbike at the same time he purchased the house. The house was small, and he planned to triple its size. And his plan was also to use the spare hours between the full time job, the wife, the two children (6 and 8), and the construction work to get a bikers license! So, there we were: Him with a bike but no license - me with a 40 years old license but no bike. I drove his bike now and then and had a lot of fun. And so, up came my 60th birthda…

Hi just a quick message to say hi im new on here and am just about to do my mod 1 and 2 and wanted to say hi to you guys i have 4 bikes R6/fazer 600 /zx9r and a vf 500 what im doing up as a collectors.oh and my son has a quad and misses a 50cc moped lol.trying to post pictures but i cant download straight from pc .
