Hi all, I am an owner of A yamaha aerox. I got this bike 4 weeks ago as to start a new project as my other projects - Yamaha Aerox S6R/T replica and Piaggio Zip MHR replica are all finnished and on the track. With this project i want to beable to keep it road legal but still have power behind it for as my other Aerox was all strictly race use parts and were all e-marketed. I want to know whats the best set-up for aerox or whats the best combination of parts that will do my aerox proud? Want to keep it road legal and try not to spend too much money as this aerox is for personal everyday use and getting about! If you know anything which will help me please let me know, Ch…

Hello to everyone, My name is Nick and live in West London. I have been riding bikes of all types since 1978 and have just purchased a DT175 for a trip down 'memory lane'. Because of this purchase I figured I would join this forum for some like-minded people and some helpful advice. The little Yam was registered in 1979 and has a tubular monoshock swingarm not the box-section item - does that make it an 'E' or an MX? The previous owner did some restoration/overhaul work; rebore, new headlamp, some new wiring, taper head bearings/wheel bearings, spark plug, engine oil, fork oil, clutch cable, new inner tubes etc. I will put a picture of it on here soon. I inten…

Hi All I'm new to this forum and motor bikes in general - driven a few on various holidays and loved it, but that about sums up my experience. I'm 40 years old and fed up with commuting by bus/train into central London, recent increases in ticket prices have made me think - why don't I just get a 125 and drive in myself? I will save money and it will be quicker - and no doubt more reliable. Any tips or pointers much appreciated. I haven't bought a bike yet, looking to do that over the coming weeks. I've been looking at DT125s or maybe a WR125 supermoto, but the cheaper the better to start with I think, just in case I end up not liking it - who knows. I'm a big b…

Hello all! Does anyone know of a good garage qualified to service Yamaha motorcycles? I'm on holiday in the Harwich area and experiencing problems with starting my bike. Seems to be a case of a fuel-flooded engine and dirty filter after driving intensely for 3 days in rain, but I would like to ensure that all is as it should be before continuing on my road trip. All good tips appreciated. Thanks!
