Just wanted to say "hi" to everyone. I currently have a honda CG125 which I have been riding for just under 2 years. I have my Direct Access starting tomorrow and I just picked up today a 2000 Yamaha Thundercat ready for when I pass my test, which hopefully will be in about 2 weeks. Im 40 and just starting out, think I'm having a mid-life crisis but can't afford a sports car Colin..

Howdy all, newbie here! I'm mike (choc) and come from deepest, darkest Wiltshire. I'm useless at intro posts, so i'll keep it short. I normally scoot around on a 955 speed triple, but my baby, first bike and bane of my life is my 1989 FZR600 Genesis. Peace out y'all

Afternoon Everyone! Hi my name is Jim, 25 yrs old from Gloucestershire! Been looking over a few Yamaha forums and this one looks to be pretty cool Ive recently moved on wards and up wards to the bikers world and bagged myself a stunning R6 2002! (piccys will follow) I previously had a Limited edition Impreza WR1 and also was a mod on JPOC, really great guys, plenty of meets, social gatherings e.c.t. The WR1 was a fantastic car but just lost the thrill and got a bit bored... Anyways!!! Just thought id drop in and say heeellloooooo... i know how annoying it can seeing people joining a site with no introduction .

Hi there I'm mike and I'm new to all of this and also new to the bike world. I have recently purchased a fzr 400rr and am currently waiting to do my test. I know it sounds a bit odd bike before test but I just fell in love with it. I've done It up with my pal at work and as soon as I'm passed I can't wait to be out there. So that's just a bit about me and I hope I can use this club to get further involved In the world of bikers.

I have 2 DT175's (1993 & 2002) I bought the 2002 model new for myself back in 2002 & I bought the the 1993 model a couple of days ago for my son. He also has a YZ125 & I have a PW80 for my 2 little ones. We have always been happy Yammy riders/owners & would like to get into it a bit more so I thought joining YOC might be a good place to start. I dont belong to any other groups & I am very new to this so please forgive any shortcomings. I look forward to reading what others have written in 'threads' & maybe posting a couple myself Thanks for the welcome Regards drdazzz

Hi all, picked up my FZ6 on a 56 plate this evening so thought I'd say hi. Not the first Yamaha I've owned, was an extremely proud owner of a 'Cat a few years ago, hoping I have as much fun on this one but somehow doubt it, god I loved that bike lol. Anyways it's late so will fill in the blanks on my profile tomorrow, have fun all and I'll see you on the boards sometime!!!!

  13. Just discovered the YOC, altho been riding Yams for nearly 40 years (god, how old am I...!) All Yams I've had were 2 strokes apart from a couple of fun years with an FZR1000R I had from new - lovely bike but not as good as the Fireblade I replaced it with (personal opinion!). Started with a 125 field bike, then a DT250MX which I passed my test on, then I bought a 350LC when they first came out, raced it a little, bought a 250LC to also race, sold them for a GPZ1100B1. Since then I've had numerous 350YPVS's at various times, and currently have a 350LC in bits (resto project), a 31k and just bought my first ever 500LC (never ridden one, and haven't been able to try thi…

  15. Started by Mark77,

Hey guys. So I bought my first motorcycle ever and it is a blast. I bought a 1996 Yahama Seca 2 and it is a fun beginners bike. I have had the bike for about 3 months now and have just got one of my first problems with it. The neutral light sensor went to crap and now my bike doesn't know when it is in neutral. I have been surfing the net for hours trying to find out where the sensor is for my bike but no luck. I have see tons of people post pictures where it is on newer models but is no help for me. Please let me know if you have any idea where it is located and if cleaning it will fix it or is it time to buy a replacement piece.

Morning all I was 67 last month and I bought a Yamaha Virago 535 here in Thailand for my birthday. At my age it will probably be my last bike and to buy it I sold my Honda Phantom to a mate who lives in Germany. He leaves it here for when he comes across for his monthly holiday every year. When I got the Yamaha he told me that when I finally give up biking I can keep the Honda and he will take on the Yamaha. I get the best of both worlds that way. Cheers

Just bought my xtz660 Tenere. Love it. Handles like a dream and so much fun. I'm a Brummie who's been into bikes since about 15. I'm a car MOT tester/Technician but have a good mechanical knowledge of bikes. My list of bikes is extensive (only one at a time though) My yamaha's incl RS100 (1977), Divvie (1991) , YZF750R (1994), XS750SE (1980) and now the Tenere. Its a well kept bike as you can see from my pic. I'm chuffed to bits. VG
