Dear all, I freelance for Performance Bikes and also for Classic Bike. Right now I'm looking for a top notch SR500 to feature alongside a BSA Gold Star. It needs to be an excellent bike, preferably done out along cafe racer lines. Email me a picture [email protected]. Thanks. Jim Lindsay

Just a hello from me 2 bikes in the household, an XV535S.......gorgeous! and an XJ600N........still lovely but not as fancy pants as the Virago! Obviously more speedy tho! I have just bought my Virago and cannot understand why I didn't get one ages ago. Lovely position for a shorty like me and so comfortable. Can't wait to spend more time out riding..

Saying "Hi" from the states, I stopped by to seek some wiring help on my '78 DT125 so I could get my bike running. It's going to be my summer ride to save money on gas (petrol for you guys over the pond ) It doesn't need to be a race winner, just a bike to get me into town (about a 6 mile drive / 15 kilometers?) to pay my bills, haul small stuff (like a roll of welding wire for the MIG Welder). Eventually I'll be replacing the top end on the 125 with a MX175 top end to squeeze a little more power out of the bike.

Hey guys, New to the action, so just wanted to say hi!! Bit of background...... Been riding for just over a year now (including CBT time). Started on a cheap Chinese Skyjet 125, which I sold after about 2 months, seeing the error of my ways!! After this, I bought a wreck of an Aprillia RS125, stripped it to the bones and rebuilt it. My intention was to get off the L-plates ASAP, and the idea was that I would do my test on the RS after gaining enough road experience in order to save money overall.......proved difficult with all the red tape surrounding its suitability for test (couldn't provide "adequate" proof of restriction for the jobs-worth bloke at the test …

Hi All, this site looks great. So, I'm sort of a newbie biker I guess. I passed my test around 7 yrs ago, bougt a bike, (1997 xvs650) but never really rode much at all afterwards, time, work, family... loads of excuses for not doing something I've always really fancied: semi laid the bike up, but started it regularly and rode round the carpark to stop anything sticking but that's about it.... sounds crazy, embarrassing. I've still got my bike and really want to get on it this Summer. Might try and get a couple of refresher lessons, it does feel big and heavy, I'm only a little bloke and my confidence is not where it needs to be. A mate of mine just told me to go out and r…
