Mt mate and me stripped and rebuilt it now the gearbox has jammed Back wheel will only turn so far forward so far back, gear selector will not move the ? to change the gear. And my tip is a Dogs testicles one The special tool to hold the clutch we did not have one so all I did was use a Tie down strap (thin and long) go round so far and the hook was secured eventually it tightend up and gripped the inner basket to enable me to undo the nut, as it applied equal pressure and no metal on metal it was safe and cheaper than the specail tool r…

Hellooo! I'm Carol. I'm from Sheffield/Lincoln. I have a Virago 535 as of about a week ago. And its awsome & I love it. Do you lot have many meets & rideouts? Bcus I'm currently finding it difficult to find people to go out riding with. People are generally a bit warey when a 19yo girl approaches you in the street and begs you to be their friend :L (Yes, I've tried that, without success.) Have a lovely day, Carol xx

Hello, A strange story brings me here... So I'll start from the beginning! I've been shooting with a family friend who owns a farm for around a year now, and as a summer holiday project I was planning to design and build my own go-kart. Anyway I dropped this in conversation with him, and he said he had an old DT175 sat in one of the old farm buildings not doing anything. He told me everything apart from the engine was knackered, and that he was planning to scrap it so if I wanted it for the go-kart, it was mine! Anyway when he dropped it off on first inspection everything looked a lot better that originally described. The engine was purring away really nicely f…

  19. Hi all, new to the forum, I have a 2003 SR250 and it definitely needs some TLC,and it seems like a good/simple bike to come to grips with the mechanical side of things. I do need a little help (particularly in hunting down a 2002/2003 manual), take a look here! Cheers, Sir B.
