Hi Everyone, I, too, am a new Yamaha owner and just returning to riding after a lengthy absence (25 years). I just purchased the Yamaha Fazer8 a week ago and love it but I do have a couple of questions. There doesn't appear to be anywhere to lock my helmet on the bike so I gather there isn't one but am I just missing it? Also, I am looking into adding handlebar risers, has anyone else added these? Is it more comfortable on the wrists? Any other helpful hints are always appreciated. Looking forward to reading all the posts. Gwyneth

Hi, Having just got nto RD's again and having recently bought 2 duffers I thought it might be useful to join a club to get some info. I have a 1976 RD400DX with a 250 motor! I also have a 1980 RD250E with a 400 motor! Both of those are in the usual 20 year neglect condition, actually I'm wondering what to do with them now that I have them? I also have a 1983 IT250J that I used to race in Enduro back in the 90's - now fully restored and gathering dust in the garage. Drop me a line on the RD's if you have any info that you think may inspire me. Cheers.

Hi everyone I'm another new starter although this is not my first post. I really have'nt introduced myself to the forum properly. I am totally new to 2 wheels although I have held a full car licence for 30 years so from that you will gather that I'm no spring chicken. I am just about to be made redundant and will be moving from Birmingham down to Cornwall so my newly acquired YBR 125 Custom will be my new steed while the wife uses the car. I got through my CBT 2 weeks ago and passed my theory this weekend so I'm on a roll. I'm really taken to this 2 wheel life and have just got back from a 120 mile run. I assume putting some miles under my belt is the best thing to do…

Just bought a used 1988 Yamaha Virago 1100. Have put on about 60 miles and it seems to be running just fine. I was a little hesitant buying the bike as I am 68 years old. My last bike was a Triumph 750 (about 45 years ago. I live in Plymouth, MA, USA and am looking forward to riding again.
