My name is Richie from Philippines. I just love Yamaha bikes since I was a child. I have 2 Yamahas right now: 100 Enduro and DT 125. I am happy I found this YOClub on the net and it's really a privilege to be a part of this club. More power to YOC!!!

Hi everyone, newbie here. Just scored a 125 (2300 orig. miles) that's been in a shed for 26 years. My big concern is buying a reasonably priced battery. My local dist here in Denver sold me one that is obviously too big for this lil' tyke'. Any thoughts besides going to a Yam. dealer in the Rcky. Mnt. area?? (Walmart doesn't stock what I need either...) I'd paste a pic but haven't a clue how on this forum... Thanks in advance ~

Hello Everyone, just wanted to say hi! Anyone had an engine cut out/electrical failure/stalling when hot problem? Doesn't appear to be the fuses, as a previous post I read suggested. I think it might be something to do with the safety cut off system or kill switch. Any advice welcomed.

Hey there all! I am new to all of this, bikes, web forums, etc. I am hoping to learn a lot and meet some people. I find it so amazing the geographical differences among the members here. Anyway, just bought my first bike, a 1987 Virago XV535. I purchased primarily for the fuel savings when commuting to and from work. I don't yet have my endorsement to ride, but hoping to be hitting the blacktop early next week. Thanks for having me! See you around the board, maybe even the road!

Greetings folks New member here so ill introduce myself, and my bike. Tony s my name, and as ya can guess from topic title, thats right im from Indiana USA The Bike is a 1979 XS 1100 Special. Got the bike just over 2 yrs ago (paid $650). After a mis diagnosis of blown head gasket (thank god for our local shop (Afterhours Autoshop). I replaced the air filter and shes runnin like a dream! Front brakes seemed to be a little sticky. decided i needed to bleed them, since it hadnt been run on the road for some time. Having the luck i do.... the master cylinder for the front went out.... fluid EVERYWHERE. next step is to attempt a rebuild. let ya know hoe that turns out...…

Hi folks, Recently got myself a SR125 for a little commuter runaround., it's a great little bike. I'll be sure to get a few pics on soon. Had a problem getting it started the other day though, after filling up I tried to start her up but no joy. Hit the starter and could hear the solenoid click but the motor wouldn't turn. Luckily another friendly biker was on hand and after a quick check diagnosed the starter to be faulty. Does anyone know how I could check this for certain? Thanks

Hi, I was browsing the net in search of a wiring diagram for my '06 TDM 900, and I ended up here. I had never heard of this forum and I thought I'd give it a go. I am an active member of lestrixeux.fr which is a TRX850 dedicated forum, so I know that making a proper presentation is always nice before asking for help. And so here goes. I'm 47, Walloon (French speaking Belgian), I've ridden bikes my whole life. I wish I could say all of them were Yamahas, but come to think of it, as I have owned something like 30 bikes ranging from Ducati to Moto-Guzzi, and from Honda to Kawasaki, it would be pretty sad for me if had never had a look somewher…

.........just to say hello to everyone from the forum. Im from Norfolk and Ive been into bikes for around four years and Ive always fancied a project. A mate of mine has recently sold me an 86 FJ1200 in black and this is to be my project. Its not in bad condition but needs a ruddy good clean, as its been hiding away in his garage for a while. Il try not to ask stupid questions and I promise to use the search facility first!
