Hello My first bike was a 1972 Yamaha RD350, my second was a 1970 Honda CB350, currently I have an 1982 Maxim 400 XS400J and a little toy 1999 Honda Dream C-100. I pulled my vintage 1982 Yamaha Maxim 400 Model XS400J out of storage in 2007 after it sat since 1991. ahd to do a lot of work but I got it up and running. I was wondering if anyone knows how many of these bikes were made and how many are still on the road. Mine has 5500 original Miles all original parts except head light and tires. Just wanted to say hello to all the members, i'm Keiran i'm 16 years old had a few bikes before bit not many, i'm a 2 smoke lover and i am just waiting to turn 17 so i can finally get unsured on my new Dt 125 re, luckilly its all been de-restricted by the previous owner because i wouldn't know where to start! i have joined this forum to try and help put who i can and hopefully learn some new things from you all thanks in advance for any help that is given, see you all around

I signed up long ago but kinda forgot about the site. I am planning to resurect my dads old 86 radian this spring its a good solid bike but hasn't been on the road for many years, he needed the carbs rebuilt and didn't want to spend the cash so it's sittin in the garage. My plan is to try and get it running this spring then maybe cut it up and customize it a bit. I'm not new to turning wrenches but I have very little motorcycle experience so I'll be surfing for info anywhere I can find it over the winter

Hi ive just gotten myself a 07 xt125r and i have a few questions: How do i increase idle speed because mine is too low? How do i take the seat off? And which engine oil should i use? Oh and also which mode tells me total mileage is it TDD or TOD? Thanks in advance

hi i am trying to build a dt 50 mx and i was wondering does anyone know where i can find a seat for a dt 50 mx for project does any one know if the 1986 seat will fit the 1987 frame .because the tank is the same as the 1986 the frame number is registered as a 1987 if so please can you help thank you dave dt50mx i have now sorted out this problem thank you for looking the project has moved on to a different level now

hi their guys im trying to locate where the fuse holder goes on a dt125mx 1981 model.every thing works as it should but mine does not have one fitted.allso why are their two joined black wires next to the rectifier with a female connector on

Hi new to the forum i live in exeter,devon,i just searched "yamaha ybr 125 cafe racer" in google images and it threw up a really nice pic of a black ybr125 cafe racer on the first and eigth row of the pictures,i fancy modding my 2009 ybr 125 to look like the one in the picture,does anyone know,what bike the chrome rear mudguard and rear light assy's off,so i can copy this on my ybr to look the same as the one in the picture,i presume the seat has just been re-shaped and recovered any help greatly appreciated.

I am a second class petty officer in the US Navy on a destroyer based out of Washington state. I learned to ride on a vstar 250 virago. I currently own a 74 enduro dt 125 and a vstar 950 tourer. the virago was sold back in november to step up to the 950. the enduro is kind of dead right now but i'm trying to fix it.

Hi, just joined the site and thought I'd drop in to introduce myself. I've got a few old Brit bikes but recently bought the TZR 50 for my son (his first bike). Not sure how to find my way around the site yet - so apologies if this is the wrong place, but I could do with a bit of advice on the TZR. Does anyone know what the little valve unit is for - it is at the end of the stainless steel pipe that branches off from the exhaust pipe? Which way around is it connected? Morning/afternoon All, as you may have guessed gfrom log in name thingy my Name's Matt and I'm from Bristol. I recently aquired a XT660 - I think its the z model, 1993? Other bikes I have are Husky 510 te gradually getting to the point where it may run and a ZZR600. Have several models of Yamaha includeing 2003 XJ900S divi have 2 XV 750 Viragos Plus a XV750 trike in process of being built , plus have a 535 trike and a XJ750 midnight Maxim lastly a XJ750 Maxim US import looking for a dateing certificate for it where could i get one of these please your help would be much appreciated .
