  4. Hello! I am new to this site but not new to motorcycles - I've had in excess of 100 in my lifetime!! I currently own a Yamaha VStar 1100 and cannot properly operate gear shift and foot brake with these foot boards interfering. Need foot pegs. Is there a conversion? Anyone done it?

Hi Guy's I am from Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, and I am a new rider. I recently purchased a 2006 XT 125 X Which I am really happy with. I have owned motorcycles before but they were mainly crossers which I used for the field. I am looking to meet other enthusiasts and learn everything I can about motorcycles. I am totally clueless about the mechanical aspect of things, and if I am honest I am proper crap at practical things such engines etc. Thanks Jordan

Dug a free bike out of a backyard. Had some bees in the bonnet, literally, and ivy growing through just about every bit of it. Apparently a tree got knocked down on either side of it, and it's been pinned until recently ever since hurricane Isabel ripped through my part of Virginia. It's now sitting comfortably under the eaves of my smithy, and I'm planning a full frame-off. I have a feeling my TIG welder and 3-axis mill are going to get a workout on this one. I have a friend with a 3D printer that does ABS plastic like a dream, might wind up with a few custom made parts too. The original tank doesn't leak, frame's solid, if a bit rusty (surprisingly less than I'd exp…

Hi to one and all. I'm new to this site. Bikes have been in the blood since I was 14. Let my licence lapse which is possible here(life, young family, as the story goes). I'll need to sit the test again at some stage. I tend to go for small engined bikes normally basket cases. I get them back up and running. Then they're rebuilt/restored to their former "glory". I've kept one or two but, normally, limited space in the bike shed, means one has to go. To make room for the next project. My current project is a '98 XV125 Virago. Picked it up yesterday, in a pretty sorry state, about 95% complete. I doubt very much that it's been washed in the last 1/2years. Ther…

Hey people I have joined this club, just now, to try and get some help for my pal Keith who has a problem with starting his Tcat. I had an SV650 and got wrid of it which is the worst thing I have done I well miss it so I will probably get a tcat as well as they are great bikes and very good value for money!!!. I put a post up in the help section but I hadn't introduced my self, which was a bit rude. I'm just quite keen to help Keith out as he isn't very web savvy and he is getting a bit low because his Tcat was stolen and then recovered but he can't get it to work again :'( Musselburgh / Edinburgh area... I'm sure he would pay for someone to help out…
