Im searching the market for the best synthetic oil on the market I cant find any real helpful input on the internet about comparring bike oils! was looking towards Royal Purple or even Amsoil but havnt made up my mind any input or self experiance with oils would be appreciated!

Hey all, this question has been floating round me head for a while, i realy struggle to get my front wheel up (01 yzf r1) when i bought the bike the forks had been raised through the yokes, of the top of my head by mabey 20-25mm, would this change in geomitry afect the bikes willingness to come up? The chances are this is my crazy imagination, but if anyone has either experience or a clue on the matter it would be good to have a chat Thanks Sam

hey guys. i got a 81 SR250 exciter the guy i bought it from did a makeshift job of fixing his cam shaft problem by just slaping a screw to keep the cam sprocket in place. and i learned the hardway about this cuz that lil screw flew off anyways was wondering if anyone know of a larger engine that'll fit into this frame i really like the bike but since this happened i have a choice of fixing it or slapping something bigger in. if anyone has any info lemme know thanx mike

the new 07' r6 and r6s, which bike is more peaky? and what does the r6s redline at? and a quick question, is there a way to put an exhaust that's as long as the r6s on an r6?

I just got a brand spanking new 2007 YZF-R6 three days and yesterday I put about 150 miles on it, and then today I went to ride it and it barely started up. I'm not sure how to explain it because it sounded like it was trying really hard to start and could barely get the engine to rev. I held the throttle open slightly and it did start. I'm wondering if there's a choke switch somewhere that I'm not seeing also. I did press the ignition switch a couple times by accident when I was riding yesterday because for some strange reason I was thinking it's not the horn, so I'm wondering if I screwed up the starter motor. hey guys, i have a an 06 r6 and im after a new exhaust for it. i like the laser gp style one, so was looking at buying it, what happens to the exup valve? and i f i lose that, does it not affect the ride and performance? im only after a slip on, not the system.....thanks for your help craigy

recently I have notice that when doing only 25-30 mph the front wheel shakes and is all over the road.The only thing I found wrong was 1 fork seal was leaking. Can anyone tell me if that seal would cause that or any other ideas any help would be appreciated? thanks in advance Josh

HI TO YOU ALL GOT PUNCTURE OTHER DAY AND I AM STILL RUNNING ON STANDARD TYRES FROM NEW SO I THOUGHT I WOULD UPGRADE TYRES AT SAME TIME I HAVE HEARD THAT THE PIRELLI DIABLO CORSA 3 ARE A GOOD BUY , I DON'T DO MANY MILES A YEAR SAY 1500 OR SO BUT THEM MILES ARE RIDEN QUITE HARD WITH THE ODD TRACK DAY CHUCKED IN SO I AM NOT LOOKING FOR LONG LASTING TYRES BUT SOME THAT ARE SUPER STICKY HAS ANYBODY OUT THERE WITH THE NEW R6 THAT HAS HAD THESE TYRES FITTED AND HOW DO YOU RATE THEM OR ANY OTHER TYRE THAT WORKS WELL ON THIS BIKE MANY THANKS (R6 DYS)

I just wanted to say Hi to everyone. I just recently got a 2008 R6S and decided to find a forum that would help and educate me. This is my first time owning a motorcycle of any kind. I have never rode before only to take my road test. Any ideas as to how I should ride and what mods I can do to it. Thanks to all.

I'm running a 2005 FZ6 Fazer with the following problems: 1. Switch on from cold, idle is very low (less than 850rpm). If not revved will stop. Unable to increase idle speed. 2. Engine running temperature takes a long time to reach, and when it does, engine will stall if not revved because of low rpm. 3. Very poor fuel consumption (about 100-120 miles to the tank), and running rich (black smoke when revved high). There doesn't appear to be a lack in overall performance except for the above problems, and costing me a fortune in fuel. I was advised to use fuel additive to clear injectors/valves, but this hasn't worked. My nearest Yamaha dealer is a round trip of…
