what would be the cheapest way out for me. i have a 93 yamaha yzf 750sp with 39mm flatslide carbs that i was going to take out and rejet! only thing ive done is clean the carbs and put back on the bike to make sure it ran! and i dont know anything about sycronizing the carbs, but was told that there is a tool to do so! and since i clean the carb and all the jetts once it should be less difficult for me to rejet it right!

Im upto 1600 miles on my new machine commuting in and out of london, got it before the cold months closed in so i've got some good road experience before the summer fun months......although i have a few questions if any one can answer this little quiz, there's prizes of course!! 1) How many miles do you think i'd get on the final trip/ reserve fuel allowance? 2) Is there an easy fix for the bad steering lock key position/ conflicting with the clutch cable? 3) Anyone know of a good seat replacement for the longer journeys?? Gel filled maybe? 4) The best accessory shop for us is......? 5) A decent undertray (painted)? 6) Colour matched rear Hugger? 7) Any other lit…

Does anyone have a haynes manual to hand for one of these. I'm changing the fork seals this evening and need to get some fork oil. I'm hoping to get some at lunch but being a knob I left the manual at home so don't know how much to get and what grade.

Kind regards to all Tandy

I'm needing two new silencers for my XJ900.The cheapest one i can find so far is a Motad full system for £250. Its only the silencers on my bike that have had it so i was thinking of getting some universal cans to fit on instead.I found a really nice pair on Ebay brand new for £70 which is not bad. Would i ruin my bike if fitting these on?

Ok, my FZR600 Genesis has a Pass button on the left handlebar - What does it do? I'm guessing its a flashing button to save switching between low/high beam. Does it only work when travelling as I've tested the button from stationary and it does nothing.

  17. Allen bolt/ PIN is stripped and Im having a terrible time locating this part. All part searches show a pin that does not have threading. The local dealer also just refers to the part in the Yamaha online micro fish where its shows just a pin and clip. I looked for a used caliper online and also see this, its listed as a 89-93 but has pins Anyone familiar with this type of pin and what bikes have them? Are their different types of pins that Yamaha uses? Please anyone with a 1992 FZR help

I've got myself a set of blue spot calipers to go on the front of my FZR600R and was wondering if the rear blue spot will fit too. I know there's no need to change it but I would like a matching set of calipers if they're an easy fit. Also I went into my local Yamaha dealer at the weekend to see how much a seal kit for the front R1 calipers was and nearly shat myself when I was told it was £100 for 8 rubber seals (robbing scumbags). If anyone else is reading this and needs some go to www.wemoto.com they do them for £30. They are obviously pattern parts and I've not used them so don't hunt me down and kick me in the nuts if they're no good, just trying to help out
