  1. Started by BillyBennett,

Christmas is coming up and my parents have asked what I want, I really need a new set of tyres for my yzf 250 as they're worn, as I'm no expert in picking out the best parts for my bike I once again ask the great people of this forum! So a new set of tyres is on the Christmas list, what tyres are worth asking for? I ride woodland quite abit and is really mucky so I'm looking for some big nobbly tires. Also in really struggling on finding some blue and white graphics for it (my kits blue and white so I want it to match) any websites that you can suggest to me? Thanks a lot

Hi, I am tearing into my 1983 Yamaha XT125 and need to pull the flywheel. I already have a 27 MM flywheel puller for my DT175 and others. It is too large to fit the 83 XT125 flywheel. I have searched everywhere and all I can find are 27MM flywheel pullers listed. Does anybody know the correct size flywheel puller for this bike and if so where I can get one? Thanks in advance. -Tony

Hey everyone, So I'm new to the forum, haven't had my account for long, and I was looking for some advice. I currently own a 2004 XVS 125 Dragstar, it's my first bike and I'm using it to practice until I get my full license. Recently the engine stopped firing on the front cylinder, I started the bike and could tell straight away that something was wrong. Me and a mechanic friend had a look and found that there was no spark on the front cylinder. At first we thought it might have been the coils but they were fine, then we had a look at the Ignition Control Module as people in a few other forums had a similar problem and this is what they pinned it to. I tried m…

Out early......destination was the Castle in Vélez-Blanco, Almeria! Riding through Orce.......and then onto Maria crossing into the province of Almeria from Granada! Parked up at the foot of the Castle....I was the only one there! And here it is in the background! Now here's the story of the Castle itself! Culture Alert! Castillo de Vélez-Blanco is located in the municipality of Vélez-Blanco, province of Almería, in the autonomous community of Andalucia, Spain. It was built by Governor of Murcia, Pedro Fajardo, 1st Marquis of los Vélez, following his appointment as Marqués. He set the headquarters of his new dominion by undertaking the constructi…

Wondering whether anyone knows if its possible to convert it to using the round headlamps. for peeps who store their bike over Winter, ethanol fuel attracts water and rusts the tank, leaves residue in carbs and rots rubber. Aspen fuel is used to replace this over the winter and is stable for 5 years according to the importers. no idea of the price though http://www.aspenfuel.co.uk/dealers/dealer-locator/

  9. Hi all Obvious ones are contact police and insurance company. Anything else, with the hope I might retrieve it? Thanks!

Hey guys recently had a small crash on my ybr. Bike was fine but the only problem was I broke my clutch lever. I bought a clutch lever online which came with a new clutch cable, so I decided to change the old one. Changed the clutch lever/cable no problem. I was riding it for a week or so back and forth to work with no problems. Then one morning I tried to ride it. Jumped on and pressed the clutch lever and there's nothing there, no resistance at all. I've adjusted the cable at the lever and the midway point on the cable to there loosest setting but it didn't make any difference to my clutch. I don't understand why this is happening, anybody got any ideas/ advice? p.s I'm…

Scary sights. I will kick off with one I witnessed on the motorway today. Nothing special annonymous 500cc something. Lane 3 doing a good 70+ running with and between traffic. Wearing..........visorless open face lid with sunglasses, wife beater vest and I assume budgie smugglers (either that or he was nekid from the waist ) with deck shoes. Can you imagine the mess.....I thought I was being reckless leaving my overtrousers off. Must be some more scary sights.......

I recently purchased a 1986 radian with no carbs, I have been looking everywhere and cannot seem to find them. Are there any places I could possibly have an easier time finding them, or are there any other compatible carbs for this bike? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi peeps. I'm still trying to find parts for the FUCR, mainly the top yoke, the dimensions I need are 35mm stanchions, with 19cm between their centres and 5cm from the stanchion centreline to the stem. I already tried XS400 ones but stem fell about 1cm short of what I needed. Sorry for the crude diagram, but it gets the point across, I'd be very grateful if any of you peeps can measure up yours (giggity) and let me know if any of them would be likely to fit.

  17. Rossi didn’t let the changeable conditions slow him down and set a fastest lap of 1’32.437 on lap five. As things closed up at the front, fans were thoroughly entertained with a heated battle between Rossi, Marquez and Iannone. Sparks were flying from Rossi’s bike on lap 12 as Dani Pedrosa started to get into the mix. Six laps later rain threatened again, allowing the Doctor to reel in Marquez. Rossi kept his head down, but as the track dried again he came just short and finished in a deserved second place, 3.516 seconds behind the front man. Teammate Lorenzo had an unlucky end to the 2014 season. Starting from fourth on the grid, he soon got caught up in a fight with …

  18. In this season that saw Nakasuga shooting for the coveted third consecutive championship in the pinnacle class, he emerged the winner in a fierce battle with rivals Kosuke Akiyoshi (Honda) and Takumi Takahashi (Honda) to take the opening round, the Suzuka 2 and 4 Race, and get the season off to a great start. Katsuyuki Nakasuga In the next round at Autopolis, he took a fall and suffered injuries before the qualifying, leaving him to start the race from 6th position. Although the victory in the next day’s race went to rival Takahashi, Nakasuga was able to beat out Kazuki Watanabe (Kawasaki) by a slight margin to claim 2nd place. Then, in round three at Twin Ring Motegi, …
