Hello there. My name is Ted and im a Nurse - 6 years ago I had to sell my bike and go back into a car, partly as a result of an injury and partly as I changed jobs and had to cart around equipment and on occasions patients! Anyway Im back - for the past 3 months i have been commuting daily and generally having a ball on a YBR125, OK not as fast as my old Kwaka but very very nimble, very able to filter through even small gaps and bloody frugal on the juice - my fuel bills just dropped from £40 / week to £10. I did have a go on a Bandit before I bought the YBR and found that my 6 years away had left my confidence and cornering ability somewhat lacking - the plan was b…

Hello, Can anyone please help? I've piled my FZ6 Fazer'06 and at present am trying to rebuild it. I'm nearing completion but I've not managed to get any UK clocks. Before I go out and spend £380 plus vat at the dealers I was wondering if anyone knew if I could get a set of european KPH clocks and get them converted and who would do it? Or would a set of R6 clocks work as I have noticed on the newer models they have a set like the R6. Many thanks in anticipation of a reply.

Hi guys, I have recently purchased my first Yamaha and I love it. The problem I have is that when I got it I gave it a good service, changed the gearbox oil ect.. I also drained the existing 2 stroke oil and replaced it with good quality fully synsethic oil and since then its been running really badly. When it gets to about 7000 rpm it splutters and mutters and I have to ease off the throttle and gently try to accelerate again which helps a bit but its still not right. Is it the 2 stroke oil coz thats the only thing I have changed??? I am very confused with it. What 2 stroke oil would you recommend? Also I want to get a better performance exhaust on it, can any one rec…

I got this from someone at work and thought I pass it on. Tips on Filling your Vehicles...This is a Message received from an oil consultant I don't know what you guys are paying for petrol... but here in Durban , we are also paying higher, up to 47.35 per litre. But my line of work is in petroleum for about 31 years now, so here are some tricks to get more of your money's worth for every litre. Here at the Marian Hill Pipeline, where I work in Durban , we deliver about 4 million litres in a 24-hour period thru the pipeline. One day is diesel; the next day is jet fuel, and petrol, LRP and Unleaded. We have 34-storage tanks here with a total capacity of 16,800,0…
