I have 03-05 r6. I'm looking to get a 2nd hand carbon fibre akrapovic exhaust, as I've read in a few places theyre the best one to buy? Am I making the right choice? How do Scorpion and arrow compare in sound? Which would you recommend?

2 years ago, I hadnt passed my big test and I wanted to go on hols. I was on 125s...no bother...After a joke at a bike shop I use, I decided to go to John O`Groats. The day I was setting off, my bike got run over... Insurance man gave me a YBR125, lovely red thing, had less than a 1000 miles on the clock and obviosly been dropped a dozen times....I serviced it before I set off. Pic of us somewhere near Carlisle. Pic of some of the roads (Ahem....) we went on Beach at Durness JOG 10 days around Scotland, 2000 miles, best holiday Id ever had. Yam 125..never let me down, I even put a phone c…

Hello, I am having some bad luck at the moment! So far this year I have had two new rears tyres due to nails/screws going into them. My last one was 2 weeks ago. I have done bout 1000 miles on it and after a ride on saturday I got home and was cleaning my bike. And guess what I have a screw again in my tyre. Can anyone suggest is it worth getting a new tyre or getting it repaird? Fortunetly I have a company car as of last week so I do no need it for work anymore.

Hi there, To my delight I found a Yamaha TZR 50, finally! To me, it looks clean and well looked after, no scratches on the fairing, 11,000 miles for an 04 plate. Basically, it's on eBay and my parents are worried because they don't know much about bikes and I haven't passed my CBT yet so I can't ride it (I would take it then buy it but it would be sold by then) and my 'rents say "we don't know what we're looking at." They are worried that I spend £1,000 on a bike then when they deliver it, it will be ok for a period of time then I'm stuck with £500 to get it road worthy. Typical parents, only really seeing it from their point of view, however I do understand what the…

Okay peeps, I checked some of this out last night (See other post regarding fuel tax protest, for those not in the know), it seems to have started, the balls rolling. Ive put a link to the main website. Its a National one and hopefully will attract many. Link here!!! It dosnt have to be a noisy thing (but with bikes thats usuall ), just a mass gathering that the authorities have no control over, because theres no apparent leader...Its down to the individuals to make it work. Good luck people, I should be there at Birch Services. Spread the word, even if you dont attend, tell others. P

After 17,000 miles of running well, my TRX850 has started to run rich on both cylinders. It is rich enough to foul the plugs and cause misfiring at low revs. I believe the ignition is ok as it appears fine at higer revs I have changed the plugs and air filter, checked that the chokes are not sticking, renewed the choke mechanisms, cleaned the carbs several times, but they look spotless anyway, checked the diaphragms and throttle position sensor and checked for a blocked carb breather. I suspect that the bike has been dynojetted but as it was running fine before this problem this should not be part of the problem. I have run out of ideas, any suggestions would be more …
