Just a general enquiry; I quite fancy a Bulldog ( NO Not the 4 legged kind you pervert!) The BT1100. Shaft drive, nice riding position, big Vee twin and shaft drive. Oh, did I mention Shat drive? I figure that when I retire next year, I've got one more long trip at least left in me and what better "Step-up" from my K Reg. XJ900F than the said doggie. The XJ's tank is in for some serious hole-mending while the weather tries to freeze the feathers off the local penguins, so my mind is increasingly turning to a route and what bike to use. Hi Hommies, I have just joined your forum and just saying hello to you all from good old England!!. I don't know if any of you can help me but I am after a tail tidy that fits near the rear shock on an R1 and it looks the bollocks!!. Can anyone suggest anywhere (Im in Nottingham) I can get some decals from for my bike? I have got the "YAMAHA" and "R6" ones sourced, but cant find any for the seat cowling (the "swoosh" that goes from the seat backwards) as seen on this picture; I am getting quite a lot of paintwork done, and need replacement decals. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys, just found you after searching for answer to a problem i have. nice looking site you got here, will take a look around it when i have more time problem is this, i had meta alarm that packed in, took it off the bike, XJR1300, then had various wires all same colour left, couldn'e get bike to fire up at all no matter what the combination of wires were connected. decided to change the loom and now i still don't have a spark....would the coils be causing this? if so, what would have caused them to go? would it be coincidence to go same time as alarm?

i have an 04 plate R6 LTD edition, the problem is at the moment it wont tick over? after a 20min ride on friday 2mins from home it backfired in a big way and now wont tick over,i have looked at the manual and the light on the dash states an electrical prob.its runs and will rev as normal but just wont idle. can anyone help with this please. dan.

Just got back from Matlock. Had an adrenaline fueled ride there and back. It was an awesome ride in both directions, and Matlock itself was extra busy (spolied a bit by LOADS of Harleys), but the trip up there was marred. As I got on to the A610, at about (the speed I was going) I felt something hit my back, then I caught a glimpse of something flying through the air. I pulled over, and found that my single seat unit had blown off! I couldnt see it anywhere. So, after a 1/4 mile walk down the bypass, I walked back up the central reservation, and I found it lying at the edge of the outer lane on the opposite carriageway! Hi, my name is Ben and I just picked up a 1987 Yamaha Radian last week. It has 25k miles on it. This is my first bike and pretty new into the whole world of two wheels. It seems to run pretty well, but the owner told me that she was getting about 30mpg. That seems pretty low to me. i thought these should get mid 40's easy. am i wrong? I take it changing the plugs and wires, along with a new air filter would help a lot, but would it make that much of a difference? while poking around i found the air filter and looked oily & pretty dirty. these aren't oiled filters are they? i would guess the filter is a big part of it. and another thing i noticed was that the little ru…
