Hi all, Just lost me job and am hoping to save a few quid. Bought some fuel from a well known supermarket and guess what it was full of impurities and it's clogged up my fuel pump (according to my local garage anyway). Now I've no way of proving the Supermarket link as I have no samples and it was bought miles away from home on a long ride. Anyway looks like it's going to cost me around £70 for a pump (pump is combined with relay) plus fitting and I've already had to pay the garage to get me going. The bike is a Fazer 600 2000 model. Now assuming I can get the old pump back from the garage do you know of a way to cleanb the old one to save me a few quid on bu…

Hi All, Anyone got any recomendations for a legal slip on can for the 08 R6? I have (until now) a standard bike, but having went out yesterday with a mate who has got a CBR 600 and another with a Ducatti felt totally embarrased by the pitiful noise of mine!! Cant be having that - gotta do something! Dont want anything illegal and dont want a full unit, just want to slip the current one off and replace it with something a bit more manly!

hi, i need some advice, just fitted a big one front pipe, need to know what to do with the breather pipe that was connected to the original pipe ? anyone help

Im having problems with my bike and need a little advice. 1. sometimes when in neutral the gear shift won't go into first unless i roll the bike forwards. 2. sometimes when i take off and then change to second it goes into neutral (even with a good flick of my foot) 3. when i try to start the bike (with neutral light on)it won't, unless i turn the back wheel a little Could someone suggest the problem, cheers

im wanting more power out of my 1997 DT 175 so far im thinkin changing size of sprockets and an exhaust. does an exhaust help much on 2 strokes and if so do i just put it on and go or do i have to re tune it

which test center is the best to do the final motorcycle exam........ from the post code se1 5na i only have a few to choose from and i failed my car exam in croydon so i dont like croydon too much and a passed my motorbike exam in south norwood but they dont do motorbikes..... where doyou think the best place in south london is best to pass.... which is not a difficult...... or are they all hard????

Just wondering if anyone has had this problem. Have a fzs600 8 yrs old 6500miles, i think this is the true mileage although now I'm not too sure, even though its spotless. It had been stood a year, had it mot'd taxed and took it to Scarborough one morning (i live in Leeds), when i got there cranking sounds coming from gearbox in first, second and the rest when i got home. Did i push her too hard too fast????! Chain was jumping on the top, so we thought it was front sprocket-looked at that-and its not. Sounds like a major strip down rebuild job- not looking forward to it. Anyone had this? From depressed.

Passed my theory and cbt and ive got my test booked for the 5th december. Im going have an R1, sod it lol.

Could any one out there ,tell me how to restore cast aluminium back to its origanal look, i am restoring an old yam. I have been told to get the parts vapour blasted does anyone know? or is there any other method.

Guys / Girls, I've just been given a screen that a friend had on his Intruder, but the simpleton sold the bike with the brackets! He's now travelling the world and I'm left wondering how to attach said screen to my 04 XVS650 Dragstar Classic. It has Renegade Styling on a small sticker on the glass but other than that I know nothing about it. It’s your standard cruiser style big windshield and only has two holes on plates pointing backwards on either side. Is there a universal fitting fit you can buy or should I cut my losses and just buy a whole new screen? just changed my exhaust for a big one . need someone to help me on the original exhaust a pipe was connected to it i presume it is a breather pipe, on the new exhaust there is no where to put this. what can be done with this . please help as i dont know what what the pipe is and what it does and will leaving not connected damage anything.

Hi Everyone , just thought i'd introduce myself, i passed my DAS a couple of months ago and bought my first bike which is being delivered this Friday. It's a 2005 Model R6 with the upside down forks etc. I bought it from Infinity Motorcycles in Clapham for £4995, it's black (Raven i believe) and has covered 4000 miles it was first registed at the end of May 2006 so still has one years warranty. I could have spent more and bought a newer model but decided that the extra money was best spent on decent leathers, boots, gloves, back protector etc. I already had a HJC Helmet that i use for trackdays in my Lotus Elise but i'll probably upgrade this soon enough (is this …

i have an 2003 plate dtr 125 and im wondering is the 04> frame the same? or will the new pannels fit? its just that the 2003 modle looks old its the same one they used in like the 80s and i fancy moddin it up lol any help woould be much apprecited thanks x
