Hi guys, thanks to those of you who have been giving feedback via the feedback tab on the left of the screen, and for those of you for putting up with it. It's not going to be up for much longer as the new software will be out at the end of the year. In the meantime we are still trying to collate as much feedback as possible about the use of this forum/functionality etc to ensure that the new board is much more user friendly. We are looking to simplify the forums and add additional areas so please let us know your thoughts.

HIya All, Just got back from second ride, About 20m, All well, pulled through All the gears, not much top end though, 65ish, But HEY i`m a cruiser, (works for me). No knocking, funny noises, smoke, flames, And it stopped, Magic these front brakes, Checked her over as soon as i got home, no leeks as far as i can see, Not even that hot, So i`m well pleased, She was ready for the scrappy when i got her, And now comes the big clean, Paint job, Any tips for cleaning the engine would be helpful, THANK YOU for your help getting the old girl this far, Al the best, Mark.

I want to start a "good" product reveiw section, I know other forums have them but they are all pretty basic and not great. I am going to run a competition to write a product review to get this started. The product review must be for something related to your bike and have been purchased this year. I will pick the top 5 reviews, these will then be put into a poll for you guys to vote. If we start getting lots of reviews quickly (20+), I shall end this within a couple of weeks, if not I will wait until we have at least 20. The winner will receive $50 transfered by paypal. I want to know how to boost my stock 2007 FZ1 to have the same power as a stock R1. I have heard lots of things but i dont want to get into wiring in resistors to the harness, i want a sure safe way. Any Ideas?

my 04 r6 has 120/70 front tyre but in manual 120/60 is recommended as im new to bikes could any one tell me why this would be done and pro and cons cheers

Hi guys hope someone can advise me. I have a 6 month old majesty 400 on a ride to work in the cold the other day it took on a mind of it's own and when you shut off the throttle an decelerated it was ok down to about 2500 revs about 25mph then ACCELERATED moderatley up to 3000revs then back down to 2500...etc. At other road speeds it seemed ok and at the end of the ride the engine management light lit up just as I arrived at work. It actually climbed the small 50 metre hill outside the workplace on its own!! It behaved the same hot or cold. After work the bike seemed fine with just a littlle hesitancy in decelerating once again at 2500. It seemed to hold it's speed for ab…

Hi, I've just bought myself a 2008 Yamaha TZR 50 and I was thinking about fitting a tail tidy because the stock back end is huge! However, I've just been out and looked how it would fit but it seems as though the number plate bracket and the undertray is all stuck together in one bit. Now I've taken off the seat to see if there are any bolts keeping it in place but I can't seem to see any. i've managed to get a few pictures off YouTube to see how people fitted theirs and they seem to have taken the undertray out and the number plate bracket but if I did that all the electrics and wiring would be exposed because that's what the battery is sitting on, effec…

As my YBR is still within the manufacturer's warranty period, I sent off the change of ownership slip to the address in my owner's manual in September but haven't heard back from them. Do they acknowledge this normally? Hubby did the same for his baby Varadero and Honda sent him a response and some other stuff within a few weeks.

Hi Am in desperate need of some information regarding the Yamaha Enticer 125cc..... I have recently bought the bike with the intention of fixing it up as a bike to learn on,,, but i have found out the bike was made in India, and no one in the UK can give me any advice on parts, as most have never even heard of it. The bike has suffered some front end damage and new forks and wheel are needed...... Question..... Is there another bike that has the same fork measurements... My yolk size is 30mm hole and 185mm centres, the yolk stem is also 30mm. Hi again, I have recently found out that either the reg/rec unit or stator or both have given up the ghost. I have tested the battery to see if it is charging whilst the trike is running, but the readings don't look good. trike not running battery reads ...................12.5v trike running at 4000rpm battery reads ...................12.4v (does not move from this figure) stator reads......................18.0, 12.4, 10.6 (these are readings taken from the stator plug, 3 white wires, testing 2 at a time). Can anybody tell me if there is a way to test the reg/rec unit, apart from fitting it to another bike? (see picture below) Also, does any…
