Hi folks, I was able to take some photos, so, now I'd appreciate any help in identifying what I have here (year and model). The bike seems to have been sorely abused and it's difficult to tell what is missing, if anything (other than the cylinder head, carburetor and air box). I'm still searching for a carb. The frame and engine nos. match "367-5023**." There are no lights (headlight, taillight, or turn signals) on the bike and it doesn't appear as if any were mounted originally. So, is it a 1978 GT8…

Hey ya'all, I have an 81 Virago XV750. Most of the time when I start it it makes a HORRIBLE grinding sound then eventually stops. Somebody told me that it was because it has plastic gears or plastic something in there. Can somebody please tell me what the hell this guy was talking about or if you know what makes it grind like that? Sincerely, LadyBiker99

Hi y'all Ive got twin rear lights on my '99 R6. Coming back from a ride Im informed my left light is out. My b/f takes off the lense cover (which is bubbled from the heat), we find that the bulb has melted into the plastic at the back and we cant get it out....same on the other one although not quite as bad. They are only little 8w bulbs?? can anyone offer a theory as to why they are running that hot? Dont wanna fork out on new stuff if they are just gonna be frazzled too... is it just shit selection of bulbs / lights on an 'aftermarket' undertray or could there be another issue? Any help appreciated guys Ta Kell

real piss£d off, got knocked off today; riding round the roundabout underneath of J25 of the M5 at taunton this afternoon, in the middle lane doing maybe 25-30, when a car sat in a queue in the lefthand lane pulled straightout and into the side of my bike (the tdm850) and me. Car seems to drive off, i think he had second thoughts when he saw a biker waiting for recovery (it turns out also from brizzle) and …

I also need a new rear light cover, low beam bulb, and the front mud guard needs adjusting as it hits the exhaust. All of this work is coming in at around 110 +vat including parts. Does this sound right, the labour is coming to £70. Any suggestions welcome.
