Hi guys and girls, After 6 weeks of waiting for the cogs to turn far enough for the DVLA to spit out a new provisional licence and send it via second-class post to me, I was finally able to take my CBT, insure and tax my bike and get it on the road yesterday! I've done close to 100 miles on it today, drove into London went for a little toot around and then blatted back down the A316 to Weybridge... found out that my beast of a 125 Drag refuses to go faster than 55mph, but then at 6'3 and 17st I'm not the lightest or most aerodynamic of lumps for it to shift. Just a suggestion so 'flame me if you will', as it seems that a lot of new members join up all the time, and by far most are polite/friendly enough to make an 'intro' either as an intro or as part of their first post (which is usually a 'fix-it question), would it not be possible to make the existing FAQ section into a 'New members' section, and, incorporate the FAQ's as a sticky 'inside' this new titled section ? as a noob must have a look at the main page 'looking for the door' and not see one ?

Oh well, got a high frequency vibe at around 7000rpm now and down around 10mph, definitely need more throttle for comparable amounts of go so looks like i'm rebuilding the TDR's top end over the winter...

hey was wondering if any1 knows of sumwhere to get a full big one exhaust system and race filter and carb to suit becuz i had a dep full system and it just didnt deliver that same kick as the old big one system i had but my dep system has snaped so i need help asap as my bike has been put off the road till i get an exhaust but i also need a new speedo cable but ive ordered that and should be here soon any help would be much appreciated thanks

alot of people dont like the top speed of the yamaha dt125r im on my 2nd dt125 the 1st was an 89 bt ive got a 92 nw and tbh the power is less the newer the bike i found out if you strip the engine right down and put a tzr 125 2rk gearbox in its got a nice tasty pick up aswell as top speed would like to know if any1 has any other idears for tuning the good old dt125r as im really keen on the dt125s bt im waiting to strip my spare engine to bits to get my tzr gear box in hehe if any1 knows any other way of tuning please please let me know

Good afternoon everyone. My dad owns a barely used, but soundly running, 1977 R-reg Yamaha DT100 in good nick, which he is thinking of selling via my Flea-bay account. Would anyone have any experience on what sort of prices it could possibly go for, or a reserve price I should consider? I appreciate that's quite an open question so I don't expect any exact answers, but I have looked on ebay and autotrader finding that most DTs are the latter 175 or 250's. Mods/Admin - this is not a 'for sale' topic, I'm just trying to get an idea if it's worth selling or not thats all. Cheers John
