Filled the DT up today and went to que up. While in the que the coloured gentleman in front pipes up with his pump number, 11. Couple of seconds later the penny drops as the clerk repeats £7.48. Yes the man says. "OI" sayes i " Thats my fucking pump". All of a sudden the mans english becomes barely comprehensable with a lot of "so sorry my bad english"; bollocks he was trying to dodge the 80 odd quid he's put in his Q7. Cheeky f#ker

Since buying my XJ750RL last weekend I have made a point of starting it everyday because I love the sound she makes. Today has been really busy so I didn't get to her till after dark and boy is she in a strop. She would not start. Choke, no choke, various amounts of throttle. Then enormous bang, large flash and a gigantic hole in one of the silencers. Any clues as to why she wont start. If i get chance tomorrow i will pull the plugs out to check that shes firing.

He's 20 in a few weeks and I was either looking into getting him a bike (Would have to be dirt cheap) or helping him find a bike. Hi peeps it seems my generator has packed up, and im having trouble finding another (reasonably priced) alternator unit, it still runs but provides no power, and this is the only form of power i have for working on my mini which means that for now all work has stopped on it i need to find a 2.2kw peak/2kw nominal alternator but i dont fancy paying £240 to machine mart for one, the whole generator itself cost me £30 but a new one of similar spec is about £300. does anybody know where i can find a unit that will fit?, im kinda racking my brains about it atm... cheers all - Foameh x

Sorry the site was down shortly. The morons at ServerCentre.net who manage the DNS for the domain name decided not to take payment for the domain and cut our access off. All my billing information is set for automatic renewal so I should never have to worry about this happening. I've got no idea why they've done this! Anyway I've paid them manually and its just been switched back on. Bastards, I can't believe they didn't send an email to say sorry payment couldn't be made or similar if there was a fault. Awaiting their response...

Hey guys, i know its nothing to do with bikes buti think this is worthy of a thread. A English based team are currently in the process of building "bloodhound SSC" which is a Rocket and jet powered car (engine from a Euro fighter) which will be able to reach over 1000MPH!!! it will have about 100,000BHP but you cant really put a BHP figure on a jet engine as its all about thrust. 0-1000MPH will take 42 SECONDS! Its has three braking systems which are an air brake deployed at 800MHP followed by Parachutes at 600MPH followed by Friction brakes at 200MPH And just to put the speed into perspective here is what it will do Four and a half football pitches in 1 s…
