  1. Started by no vice,

You wont believe what happened to me today and I've only just managed to calm down. I can also imagine the sympathy I will get (or not) when you read the rest of this post. Module 2 test was booked for today at 10:09 Met with my instructor early at 8.00am for a good hours touring as it was quite cold and wanted to check out the roads. We then went off to the test centre but mid journey I had to swap gloves with a spare pair that my instructor had. We arrived well in time at about 9.50. Outside the test centre we had a last minute chat and i decided to go back to using my gloves so we swapped the kit over and I took off my headset and radio and helmet.Walked into the …

Been plundering through eBay looking for parts for my project. Spotted some nice delkevic footrests, was about to click the Buy-It-Now when I noticed his shipping cost of £5.95 was mainland UK only. Shipping to NI was gonna be £19.99!! What a rip off. I've posted much bigger items (like plastics off Juniors PW50) from here to mainland, 1st class recorded for £5. I actually contacted the seller to ask how he justified his costs, got a reply today after a week - telling me not to contact him again!!! Lol Rant over, normal service will now continue

  3. Yes it is still a bit chilly, yes the roads have a covering of muck but what a fabulous day for getting the cobwebs blown off the bike. Much better than the beginning of the week when there was still ice around. 21 miles commute to work = 30 minutes. Half term helped!! Bring on the summer

Ok so i bought a bike a few months back, just an offroader for use in the lanes Was sold as a Dt125, but my mate says its not a DT, maybe a YZ? His dad recons its neither, possibly an IT? There are no lights, but there is a bracket for a footstand. My mate says the shocks and discs are not from a DT as they are larger than usual. The engine reads 'Yamaha 3BN' then 'Y-3' on the head. Does this mean anything? Or do i need to find a chassis number etc.. I'm a complete ammatuer when it comes to bikes... as you can tell lol I need to know what bike/engine i have as i need to buy a head gasket. Thanks in advance

I was in touch with a mate a few days ago and kind of approached the subject of taking a week off from the rat race and doing a bit of touring around the emerald isle to visit a few mates and generally have a good old time. Needless to say he took me up on the offer {what more could you ask for good roads, friendly locals, and proper guinness not to mention some of the grub}. I was kind of thinking about the trip today and It suddenly dawned on me that I’m absolutely useless at figuring out what I need to take with me {don’t get me wrong I’ve got it right sometimes and got it biblically wrong on other occasions}. Hence why I’m asking this question to everybody …
