I reckon I'll get another year out of the Divvy before I'm in the mood to change, maybe not, but I'm really taken with the XJR1300 not sure what year but probably a revised one from 2007. Any thoughts?

So, had a look around and everything looks pretty much the same, I guess it all comes down to how well you look after the battery. I've seen these 'Motobatt' units advertised around and was wondering if any had any experience of them, they're only a few quid more than Yausa etc..any thoughts? Cheers in advance peeps!

Morning all Just a quick few lines to catch up with you lot. I think it was towards the end of November when I last posted so I would imagine that a lot of you will be cringing now knowing that I have a couple of months worth of blah blah to bang on about but sadly, no. Nothing to exciting to report really. The usual slowed me down from posting and keeping up with everybody's projects. Christmas, work, etc etc. You know the score. I have kept dropping in from time to time seeing how everyone was but just from google so I have been around, just not putting any of my ramblings on the screen As for my trusty DT, she's well and currently in a slow cha…

Hi All, Not sure how others do (if at all) but wanted some advice on how to clean my jacket. It has some white areas on it and it's beginning to look a bit tatty! (http://www.hein-gericke.co.uk/clothing/motorcyle-clothing/jackets/pro-sports-psx-competition-2-sheltexr-blouson-schwarz-rot.html) Any advice on how to wash or clean these much appreciated... Hi guys I am interested in buying an XS11 as a project bike. Unfortunately the bike is not licensed and the current owner does not know what model it is or the year of manufacture. I have tried to do a few Google searches, but none of the models I have seen look the same as the one in the pics. What stumps me is the seat and handlebars. If someone could please identify what model this XS is and the year I would really appreciate it. The VIN no. is 3X1-000288

There's a new motorcycle gear shop opening in Weston Super Mare next monday (27th feb 2012) JDL Motorcycle Gear is owned and run by Kevan Scott (head Marshall at weston Bike Night) and his family they supply everything motorcyclists might need (except for the bikes). He's got TEA and CAKES too! even on Sundays, so worth dropping in for that alone! Stock includes Helmets, Clothing, Spares, filters, Batteries and loads more. Have a look at their web site http://www.jdlgroup.eu/10.html The shop is pretty easy to find......... Coming from Bridgwater: A370 Bridgwater road - Turn right (at the Hospital roundabout) onto the Broadway - Turn Left at the mini roundabo…

Hey peeps! with my pending departure overseas it seems i have already spent my bonus, behold the glory of my latest toy, 17k on the clock and a few extra toys added on for good measure It was my dads bike about 7 years ago, he rode it for a while and parked it up under cover in the garage... where it stayed for 5 years until i decided it would be a respectable step up from the rattley battle-scarred XJ600, managed to dig it out from under the crap that has accumulated in the garage today and after installing a fresh battery and turning the fuel tap to the on position (the XJ has a vac operated tap, im not used to this!) it fired into life and ran perfectly,…

just found the link to the bike test on the direct Gov website I got 50/50, thank god I still got it! A lot of it would be hard if you didn't have the riding experience I suspect http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Diol1/DoItOnline/Doitonlinemotoring/DG_4017669

You wont believe what happened to me today and I've only just managed to calm down. I can also imagine the sympathy I will get (or not) when you read the rest of this post. Module 2 test was booked for today at 10:09 Met with my instructor early at 8.00am for a good hours touring as it was quite cold and wanted to check out the roads. We then went off to the test centre but mid journey I had to swap gloves with a spare pair that my instructor had. We arrived well in time at about 9.50. Outside the test centre we had a last minute chat and i decided to go back to using my gloves so we swapped the kit over and I took off my headset and radio and helmet.Walked into the …

Been plundering through eBay looking for parts for my project. Spotted some nice delkevic footrests, was about to click the Buy-It-Now when I noticed his shipping cost of £5.95 was mainland UK only. Shipping to NI was gonna be £19.99!! What a rip off. I've posted much bigger items (like plastics off Juniors PW50) from here to mainland, 1st class recorded for £5. I actually contacted the seller to ask how he justified his costs, got a reply today after a week - telling me not to contact him again!!! Lol Rant over, normal service will now continue

Yes it is still a bit chilly, yes the roads have a covering of muck but what a fabulous day for getting the cobwebs blown off the bike. Much better than the beginning of the week when there was still ice around. 21 miles commute to work = 30 minutes. Half term helped!! Bring on the summer
