Hi Guys, I can imagine of you are thinking its stupid for anyone to own a Mini moto, I baught it off of a friend just to strip down, Rebuild and replace what needs replacing. The problem I am having is it got to me not working and from what I have checked it isnt sparking so I will be sorting that, The other thing is the carb valve with the little dial style handle on the side that allows fuel trough, Aparantly it has been turned god knows how many times, I dont have any idea if it being turned around the same way many times will stop fuel flow or is it on something where it just matters at what angle its at and not a thread? Im sorry for the Un technical explenati…

Hi there, have a 2010 yamaha aerox, working fine yesterday was cutting around no problem, has sat at the garage for about 2 months unused, unstarted, this was the previous owner. However, the second time i brought it out yesterday it bogged out just as i started to rev, to the point that the engine terminated, from here on the electric start is just turning over and will not start it successfully. Checked the spark plug, its a good NGK one and is generating a good spark. Help. Thanks in advance!

Hey all, at the minute im going to work on my bike with my chain lock in a back pack and being heavy my back is feeling sore because of it, so im thinking of getting.panniers. I have a YZF 125, what would you think was better a saddle bag, (im thinking one with two sides for the seat behind me) or a tank bag? Also is there a site worth going on to get them at low price? ( Bought some Alpinestar boots recently for £140 were meant to be £200 though so got a good deal, but still quite poor till pay day lol ) Thanks

Hi, I've managed to fix the issue with the country flags not working. However it means you'll need to update your profile to get it working. View your profile, click on the edit profile link on the top right, then re-select your country from the drop down menu and all should then work. Cheers Alex

Hi all, Appreciate that there are some very expensive Bike dryers out there and call me tight but wouldn't a half decent powered (2,000w) hair dryer be just as good at getting rid of water in the hard to reach areas? Of course I;m talking about the bike not my personal bits. Any other ideas or suggestions welcomed - my concern is with hidden water causing some potential rust issues. (Looking to apply ACF-50 on but read the bike has to be very clean and dry first!) ...or do I just wash and dry as best I can and stop worrying about it?

Hi everyone, i've been thinking a lot recently about the values of broken/neglected motorcycles, the cost of repairing them, and then the cost of selling them on as fixed/tlc'd motorcycles, and from what i can see unless its an RD or ultra-rare race rep collectable there isn't a lot in it. my XJ turbo for example, i have probably spent about the same amount of money buying parts from overseas, sundries e.t.c than it would have cost me to buy a restored example over here, so i then began thinking is it likely to be more cost effective to break certain bikes? if so what bikes would be best to break? for example, i have been offered £500 for my XJ600 in its current st…

Me and the missus, or as said properly, The Wife and I, went down to Weston-Super-Mud today. We came out of a shop in the high street and was confronted by a young male big issue seller who very politely said big issue sir/madam? To which I looked him in the eye then carried on walking. Then, all of a sudden he threw his whole pile of magazines down on the pavement, shouted "FUCK IT" and walked away. I think he must have had a shit day and we were the last straw.

Off to the Hague first thing tomorrow. Going on Eurotunnel and then staying in a Hostel (£18/night). Been to the Netherlands before, but not seen 'Holland', hope the weather holds out (partly why i chose it, Lux, Black Forest, Ardennes all have rubbish forecasts). Bike pretty much all loaded up for 7am start - plan to ride up the polders/dikes from Antwerp to The Hague. It'll be the first time I have toured with a topbox (nice to be able to secure the helmet at any stops). It's about 450miles each way, plus any touring around I do whilst there. Back on sunday. It's what the XJ6 was made for.....

Hi there, I live in Cornwall and am looking for a first big bike (Passed DAS on Thursday!!). I only know of 3 motorcycle retailers in the area; Damerells (Just down the road, handy), Cornwall Kawasaki Centre and North Cornwall Motorcycles. Are there any other retailers / garages in Cornwall? Good or bad experiences of any places would also be helpful
