Just had the latest update from VOSA Department for Transport have recently announced that fixed penalty levels are expected to increase from July 2013. The changes are being introduced following an extensive public consultation which took place in 2012 with the road safety groups and Police forces. As well as affecting most motoring fixed penalties offences, graduated fixed penalties and financial deposits will also increase due to the changes. This will mainly affect commercial goods and passenger carrying vehicles, and includes offences like drivers’ hours and overloading. The changes are as follows; A £30 non-endorsable fine will rise to £50 A £60 en…

Ok guys, after a bit of a chat about the rims I'm looking for, I thought it would be easier for me to upload a few links so the people know what I'm actually talking about. Like I said in an earlier post ive only seen these wheels on bigger dragstars in Australia and none so far in uk show rooms so if anybody knows if they're available I the uk and available for 125 dragstars, give me a shout please. Cheers guys, all the best, Steve. http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/sixsicksex666/image_zps2db831e8.jpg http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/sixsicksex666/image_zps1072b0c6.jpg http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/sixsicksex666/image_zps75e763e6.jpg

Ok so as some of you know I have "acquired" a couple of Suzuki bikes from my local bike shop, will not go into the whole story but they both needed the fork seals doing, not an inconsiderable job on one bike let alone two, so as usual looked on YOUTUBE to see if there was anything special about Suzuki seals that might bite me on the arse when I got them apart. Found a vid about a thing called "seal mate" bit of plastic you shove down inside the seal and it hooks the crap out "WITHOUT" taking the forks apart (this only works if the seals are ok but weeping slightly which most are) long story short I made my own out of a piece of plastic that came from the top of a take out…

Well I passed the MOD 2 today! I ended up with 7 minors mainly for being slow on the country roads and hesitation but it is still a pass and my freedom, whoo hoo! Now to get the bike insured and taxed and get on with it.

Hi all, I'm trying to locate a clutch basket for what I believe to be a 1974 DT 175 trail. I'm restoring this bike and on stripping the engine down I found the basket seriously damaged. I know I can get a complete unit from the States as a last resort. But are there any other years that will fit?? If they need machining etc that will be fine as my sons are engineers and welder fabricators. Hope someone can help. Myke.

Rebuilding the dt has been frustrating in many ways this time but the engine is sweet now. I have never felt it stronger. So strong in fact that the kin kick start bust this morning. Not fair. Compression too to bump it as well. Needed 4th to turn over and i cant run that fast ha ha. Bugger!

This is a bit vague but in the last few years and increasingly so I've noticed more of an aggressive attitude from punters/customer if they don't get what they want OK I'm possibly a special case to some extent because I work in a planning department and cut backs have meant charging for all sorts of stuff that was previously fee but that aside I can't recall developers, designers, individuals ever being so disagreeable and refusing to take 'no' for an answer, quickly resorting to complaining do you think things are changing for the worse in this recession type climate or is it just me? even think more stress, frustration and irritability now evident on the ro…

This is where I would normally say "Good night all" But I won't, because MOD Steve "Foamy" will only say, "You've already done this before" So to Steve, Golf, Oscar, Oscar, Delta, November, India, Golf, Hotel, Tango.

Well. A few years have past since the historic D day landings on 6th June 1944. I just wanted to say "Lest we forget". I have been to the landing beaches in Normandy and it is hard to imagine the horror these guys went through to keep us free. Bless them all.

:icon_sad: took the dog out this evening, just had overalls on as i'd been doing some house repairs dog sees cat, violently flies off, lead caught in my hand drags me with her, i lose balance on crashing into an open wheelie bin would have been ok i suppose but all sorts of sharp stuff sticking out of the top of the bin with the lid folded back, got this knife like would, wife says get it stitched but that means hours in a & e so i'll just take pain killers and get sleepy that's why i'm bothering you lot so late so loads of bike riding this week end - no problems, take the dog out and get a nasty deep cut... ...
