Bought another FZ the other week, to keep my '85 company 8) This one's an '86 model and was cheap at £750 so I couldn't really miss it. It's got 46000 miles on the clock, very original and goes like stink. Few knocks and scrapes on the bodywork but otherwise very good for an 18 year old I've fitted a new grab rail since the pics were taken as it was missing.

Here is the first of many photos of my bike. I have just fitted a new battery and filter to it, and my next job is to give it a good service as I beleive the float to be sticking in the carb. I will also be giving the bike a treat to a full cosmetic clean as its been standing for almost 4 years in a garage. Many thanks to everyoine that helped and advised me in my other thread. Hey all, Im new to the site (as though this wasnt obvious enough). Thought I would join in the fun and show off my new bike the Ymaha Dragstar. Here she is as new as you could get her with only 26 miles on the clock. I am proud of here an will be for a long time to come. I have built a site and would like to prgress it further (dont worry alex I aint trying to come into competition with you) I just think the more sites about Yamaha's the better. http://www.tomturley.co.uk All the best for now Tom

As they appear to be "in the hunt" in the World Endurance series...... They also are doing well in the AMA SuperStock class over here....as evident of one Jamie Hacking podium 8) , this last race @ Infineon?...aka (Sears Point) Raceway. Jamie is the current AMA SuperSport champ aboard an R6....& is also an interesting character to listen to in an interview....he's originally from the U when he was 9yrs. old.....so needless to say, he has an interesting accent

Well i suppose im to start, i have a 94 YZF-750R, The main parts are of course a rear Ohlins shock, steering damper, new footstays, exhaust, backend conversion, and custom dream machine paint work, and a lot of polishing. I know its a bit old school now, as it is bloody heavy compared to the new bikes! What have you got?

Okay, perhaps I shouldn't post in here as my first trackday didn't quite go to plan and I ended up riding my girlfriends honda around Cadwell instead of my previously trusty YZF750. The YZF decided that it didnt want to play on a track with me and came to an abrupt halt with electrical problems on the way there. The YZF is fixed again now and if I had found the dodgy wiring while I was at the side of the road I would have still used the yam. As it was I had to cram myself onto the little NC30. Still, a fantastic fun time was had, pictures here.... http://www.escapethewomb.com/~crotchrocket...s/trackday.html Wonder if the girlfriend will notice the slightly shorter right …
